I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience helping individuals heal relationships with themselves, others, and the world around them. My approach is client-centered and integrative, combining evidence-based methods like cognitive-behavioral therapy and structural family therapy with tools inspired by Jungian psychology and the Medicine Wheel. I create a safe and compassionate space for clients to explore their inner world, address emotional pain, and find clarity in their relationships. Together, we work to uncover new perspectives, foster resilience, and create meaningful, transformative change.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you feel truly heard and seen. We’ll take time to explore what brought you to therapy—your challenges, pain points, and hopes for change. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand your story and the patterns in your relationships with yourself, others, and the world. Together, we’ll begin identifying what’s most important to you and set the foundation for our work. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling supported, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to create a safe and compassionate space where you can explore and embrace the parts of yourself that may have been rejected by others—and, as a result, by you. These parts, often hidden in shame or pain, are vital to your wholeness and deserve to be understood, loved, and integrated. Together, we’ll work to uncover and honor these aspects of yourself, allowing you to move through life with greater self-acceptance and authenticity. Another strength is guiding you in redefining what true love means—not just in your relationships with others but also in your relationship with yourself. We’ll explore the qualities of true love—kindness, respect, reciprocity, and care—so you can discern between what nourishes you and what may be a shadow of love. This clarity will empower you to make choices that align with your well-being and bring deeper connection and fulfillment into your life. I bring over 30 years of experience, a deep understanding of relational dynamics, and a heartfelt commitment to helping you heal, grow, and create meaningful change. My approach is not about fixing what’s broken but about helping you uncover the beauty and strength that have always been within you.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I understand the deep pain that comes from feeling disconnected—whether it’s from yourself, your loved ones, or the world around you. Relationships can feel overwhelming, full of hurt, and leave you questioning your worth or struggling to find peace. But it doesn’t have to stay that way. I’m here to guide you toward healing, helping you move from the pain of disconnection to a place of understanding, connection, and wholeness. Together, we’ll uncover what’s holding you back, nurture your inner strength, and create the meaningful, loving relationships you desire—with yourself, with others, and with the world around you. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

My approach to therapy is eclectic, integrating a range of therapeutic modalities to create personalized and effective treatment plans that honor each client’s unique experiences, needs, and goals. My extensive training spans psychoanalysis, Jungian psychology, structural family therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused care, and relational coaching, allowing me to combine evidence-based practices with deeper explorations of the psyche. In practice, this approach allows me to work collaboratively with clients, tailoring interventions to what resonates with them most. For example: Psychodynamic Insights: I help clients uncover unconscious patterns and attachment dynamics, gaining clarity about the root causes of their challenges. Jungian Tools: Using archetypal exploration, shadow work, and symbolic tools such as the Mandala Assessment (MARI), I guide clients through self-discovery and personal transformation. Cognitive and Behavioral Techniques: With training in trauma-focused CBT and structural family therapy, I address disruptive thought patterns, behaviors, and relational dynamics to foster emotional well-being and connection. Voice Dialogue and Relational Coaching: I support clients in exploring different parts of their inner selves, gaining clarity in relationships, and navigating life transitions with empowerment and intention. Medicine Wheel Wisdom: Drawing on the timeless teachings of the Medicine Wheel, I help clients explore themes of balance, power, and interconnectedness, fostering holistic healing and self-awareness. This integrative approach creates a safe and supportive space for clients to heal and grow. Whether someone is seeking to address trauma, relational challenges, or deepen their connection with themselves, my eclectic method adapts to their unique journey, guiding them toward meaningful and lasting transformation.
