LMHC, 3 years of experience
New to Grow
I take a person-centered approach to therapy, offering a welcoming and compassionate space where people can explore their strengths and create positive change. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and together, we can uncover the abilities and resilience that already exist within you. With a background in education, I bring empathy and understanding to our work, helping you navigate both the challenges of today and the lingering impact of yesterday’s experiences.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain, and any goals you may have in mind—but there’s no pressure to have it all figured out. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your experiences and the challenges you’re facing, while also giving you space to share at your own pace. Together, we’ll discuss what therapy might look like moving forward and create a plan that feels comfortable and supportive for you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.
My greatest strengths as a therapist lie in creating a warm, accepting space where clients feel truly seen and supported. I approach each person with genuine curiosity and respect, believing that everyone has the capacity for growth and the wisdom to guide their own healing. With a background in education, I bring patience, empathy, and a collaborative spirit to my work, helping clients navigate both present challenges and past experiences with understanding and care. I’m committed to meeting clients where they are, combining mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, existential therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused techniques to best support their individual needs. Clients can expect compassion, active listening, and transparency as we work together toward meaningful change.
