New to Grow
Our mental health deserves the same care and attention as our physical well-being. I strive to create a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow. Together, we’ll work toward understanding your experiences, healing past wounds, and creating impactful change. I’m here for you every step of the way, offering support, understanding, and guidance as you work toward clarity, healing, and balance.
Our first session is about connection, getting to know you, understanding your goals, and creating a space that feels safe and supportive to begin your healing work. During the first session, I will ask relevant background questions and provide support. We will work together to establish your treatment goals and address the best ways to heal and grow during the therapeutic process.
Growing up in a multicultural environment helped me appreciate how deeply culture and life transitions can shape our emotions, relationships, and sense of self. I bring this understanding into every session, meeting you with empathy and curiosity. I understand some of the challenges that come with moving, adapting to cultures and new environments.
I specialize in supporting individuals who are struggling with depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, borderline personality disorder (BPD), anger, and challenges with emotional regulation. My approach is gentle yet grounded in evidence-based practices, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). I believe in meeting you where you are, helping you understand your emotions, and building the tools to feel more balanced, connected, and at peace.
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, challenge them, and build healthier ways of thinking.I use CBT to help clients break free from anxious and depressive thought loops—learning to spot distorted thinking and reframe it into something balanced, empowering, and real.
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients manage impulsivity, regulate intense emotions, and build healthier relationship patterns through mindfulness and skill-based strategies. I utilize all modules of DBT and teach you practical real-life skills you can implement in your daily life and reduce overall stress levels.
I use a psychodynamic approach to help clients understand how early relationships and past experiences shape the way they think, feel, and connect today. I help clients look beneath the surface—understanding how early experiences and attachment patterns may be replaying in current relationships. I Incoporate attachment theory, past relational patterns and thought reflection to rexamine life patterns.
