New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and grounded in real life. I am a good fit for clients who value collaboration and are open to exploring how their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and past experiences influence their current challenges. My approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive, and I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, goals, and pace. If you are looking for a therapist who provides a supportive, nonjudgmental space while also offering practical strategies and evidence-based care, I may be a good fit for you.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating, and you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. You don’t even need to have the right words or a clear plan—just a willingness to start.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My approach is trauma-informed, insight-oriented, and solution-focused; blending reflection with practical tools to help you better understand yourself and create meaningful change. Sessions are a supportive space where we explore what’s going on beneath the surface while also focusing on what you want to change moving forward. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and not judged. Many of the clients I serve want to build coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, improve relationships, process trauma, or gain clarity and confidence in their lives. I also work effectively with clients who may be new to therapy and appreciate guidance, psychoeducation, and a clear sense of direction in the therapeutic process.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am most eager to work with individuals and families who are seeking meaningful change and practical tools to improve their emotional well-being. I work especially well with clients who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or impacted by stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, or major life transitions and who want support that is compassionate, structured, and goal-oriented.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
use SFBT to help clients identify their existing resources, clarify goals, and develop practical, achievable steps toward change. This model is particularly effective in brief treatment settings and with clients seeking focused, goal-oriented support.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients understand the relationship between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and to identify patterns that contribute to distress or maladaptive coping. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, emphasizing psychoeducation and skill development so clients feel empowered in their own treatment.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I integrate TF-CBT with a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach and continuously assess progress using clinical observation and standardized measures when appropriate. My use of TF-CBT supports structured, goal-oriented treatment while remaining flexible and responsive to each client’s unique needs.
