(she/her)
Hi, I’m Mia. With over seven years of clinical experience, I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel truly heard. I have worked with children, teens, adults, couples, high-risk populations, and members of the LGBTQIA community. I value meeting each client as a whole person and honoring their unique experiences, identities, and strengths. In our work together, we’ll explore what feels heavy or overwhelming and build on the strengths you already have. I aim to help you move toward greater balance, healing, and personal growth at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you are navigating emotional challenges, relationship concerns, or a major life transition, my goal is to support you in creating meaningful and lasting change.
In our first session, we’ll take things at a comfortable and supportive pace. I’ll invite you to share what brought you to therapy and what you hope to work toward, but there is no pressure to have everything figured out. We’ll explore your concerns, gather some background information, and begin identifying goals that feel important to you. I’ll also answer any questions you have about the therapy process or what working together may look like. My hope is that you leave feeling understood, supported, and encouraged about the path ahead.
I bring a calm, compassionate presence and a collaborative approach to therapy. I focus on helping you feel safe, respected, and empowered to share openly. I value curiosity, flexibility, and genuine connection, and I work to adapt my approach to fit your needs, preferences, and goals.
I support clients of all ages who are navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I draw from approaches such as cognitive behavioral strategies, mindfulness, play-based techniques, and strength-focused work to help you develop practical skills and insight. I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, and I work to meet you where you are. Together, we’ll create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to take meaningful steps forward.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a highly effective, evidence-based approach that helps clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. In my practice, I use CBT in a warm, collaborative, and empowering way—never rigid or clinical. My goal is to help you feel supported while also giving you practical tools you can use right away. Over the years, I’ve used CBT to support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma-related symptoms, and difficulties with emotional regulation. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns, build healthier ways of thinking, and practice new coping skills that fit your real-life challenges. I tailor each session to your needs, pace, and comfort level so the process feels natural and achievable. Ultimately, CBT with me is a team effort—we work together to help you gain clarity, create meaningful change, and feel more grounded and in control of your life.
