I offer a warm, non‑judgmental space where you can slow down, breathe, and explore what’s really happening beneath the surface. My approach is deeply trauma‑informed and grounded in the belief that healing happens at your pace, with safety and connection at the center. I support adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, low self‑esteem, caregiver burnout, and the emotional weight of complex family systems. My style is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from an integrative blend of EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, polyvagal‑informed work, CBT, and DBT. This flexibility allows us to work with both the mind and the body, helping you build grounding, resilience, and a deeper sense of self‑trust. Living with CPTSD myself, I understand how essential it is to feel truly seen and supported in therapy. I bring experience from inpatient psychiatric settings, where I worked with individuals facing acute mental health challenges and crisis situations. I’m especially passionate about supporting caregivers and those who tend to everyone else before themselves. My goal is to help you feel more empowered, more connected to yourself, and more able to imagine what’s possible for your life. **Established Clients: If you don't see availability on my schedule, feel free to reach out to me to schedule.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is about safety, clarity, and choice—at your pace. We might begin with brief grounding (breath, feet on the floor, or a quiet pause) and a plain‑language review of consent, confidentiality, and logistics—scheduling, how to reach me between sessions, and what to do in a crisis. Then we’ll explore what brings you in and what you hope will feel different. You don’t have to share everything; we go gently. I listen to your story and to cues from your nervous system—breath, posture, activation, or shutdown—to find a workable window of safety. Together we’ll set initial goals. If you want tools now, I can offer CBT/DBT skills for emotion regulation, communication, and unhelpful thought patterns. If you’re curious about IFS, we may map protectors and vulnerable parts with compassion. If EMDR seems appropriate, I’ll explain it and begin readiness and resourcing; we won’t process trauma on day one. We’ll close by summarizing insights, next steps, and one simple practice to support you. My space is trauma‑responsive, LGBTQIA+ and neurodiversity‑affirming, and culturally humble; your feedback guides the pace.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

I use attachment‑based therapy to help clients understand how early relationships shape current patterns. Through safety, attunement, and co‑regulation, I support healing and more secure connections.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and build healthier coping skills. Through practical strategies and guided practice, I support lasting changes in thinking, behavior, and emotional regulation.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT to help clients build skills in emotion regulation, mindfulness, distress tolerance, and healthier communication. Through practice and support, I guide clients toward greater balance and stability.

EMDR

I use EMDR to help clients process traumatic memories and reduce distress by engaging both the mind and nervous system. Through bilateral stimulation, clients gain clarity, relief, and a renewed sense of safety.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I use IFS to help clients understand and compassionately work with their internal parts. By building connection with the Self, clients heal protective patterns and create more inner harmony and resilience. Effective for relational attachment trauma, substance use disorders, chronic illness etc.
