I believe that seeking therapy is an act of courage and self-love. Choosing to care for yourself in this way is a meaningful step, even when it feels challenging. I work with clients from diverse backgrounds, including those navigating questions of identity, belonging, or cultural transitions, as well as those processing trauma, life changes, or difficult emotions. In our work together, we’ll explore how your past experiences, relationships, cultural background, and life patterns influence how you feel and show up in the world. I pay attention to how your body, emotions, and the social and gendered aspects of your life play a role, helping you connect mind and body while gaining insight into what drives your patterns.
I see therapy as a collaborative process. You bring your experience, and I bring guidance, skills, and support. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface while also developing practical tools to manage stress, regulate emotions, and strengthen relationships. The work we do together is about understanding yourself more fully, finding ways to navigate life’s challenges with confidence, and creating lasting change that feels authentic and meaningful to you. Therapy can help you feel better, build resilience, and cultivate a deeper, more compassionate connection with yourself and others.

Hi friend, I'm Sarah. I believe that grief is a natural response to love and loss, and that no one should have to navigate it alone. Hello, my name is Malinda Grace
M.S. LPC, NCC, PhD Student, a Licensed Professional
Counselor and National Certified Counselor (NBCC) with over
25 years of experience supporting trauma-informed
individuals in healing relational wounds and strengthening
their sense of self.
My clinical work has long focused on identity development,
particularly for individuals navigating the lasting impact of
relational trauma, disrupted attachment, and prolonged
periods of self-doubt. I specialize in working with clients who
are ready to understand themselves more clearly, take
responsibility for their growth, and engage meaningfully in the
work of change.
For the past 12 years, I have been practicing depth psychotherapy that values the therapeutic relationship. I came to this field in midlife, guided by a deep desire to follow what I have always loved - psychology and psychotherapy. I earned my Master’s degree in a holistic psychology program at the University of West Georgia and pursued additional training in depth psychotherapy with the American Academy of Psychotherapists.
My work is grounded in Humanistic psychology and centers on the transformative power of the relationship between therapist and client. I focus on growth rather than pathology, and on understanding the whole person rather than a focus on some aspect of their experience.
I am also committed to ongoing self-reflection and personal work. This helps me remain aware of my own dynamics and any barriers that could interfere with being fully present with clients and understanding my clients' life experiences.
I approach each person with curiosity rather than judgment, holding a deep trust in every individual’s innate capacity for healing and growth when given the right support, insight, and meaningful therapeutic relationship.
Choosing to start therapy is a big step, and I don’t take that lightly. It’s truly a privilege to walk alongside people in seasons where they’re growing, reflecting, and working toward healing. My approach isn’t just built on training and clinical experience—it’s also shaped by my own personal journey and my faith. Because of that, I understand how overwhelming life can feel at times, but I also believe that change, clarity, and healing are real.
In my work as a therapist, I’ve supported individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, men’s issues, substance use, and trauma. Life moves fast, and a lot gets put on us emotionally. My goal is to give you a space where you can slow down, think clearly, and be yourself without judgment—while also creating room for truth, growth, and restoration.
I aim to build a relationship that’s honest, supportive, and real. Whether you’re dealing with something specific or just trying to figure things out, I’m here to help you gain insight, build resilience, and develop tools that actually stick.
I work best with adults experiencing stress, grief, or life transitions. My clients include first responders, veterans, aviation professionals, older adults, and Gen X and Millennial adults navigating burnout, vicarious trauma, health diagnoses, treatment adjustment, or relationship concerns. I also support individuals working to strengthen emotional regulation, improve relationships, and feel more grounded in daily life.
My approach is direct, supportive, and collaborative. I work well with clients who are open to honest reflection and willing to engage in feedback as part of the growth process therapy can offer. My goal is to help guide you toward your “true north”—that sense of clarity, values, and direction that aligns with who you really are and how you want to live. In therapy, that often means getting clear on what matters most to you, letting go of patterns that no longer serve you, and building the skills and awareness to move through life with greater intention, steadiness, and authenticity.
