I am a licensed therapist with 15 years of experience working with adults who are facing mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and pre-/post-pregnancy. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for my clients to share their story. With an individualized treatment plan that meets the client where they are and the goals they wish to accomplish. Most clients report that they experience symptom relief, understand their triggers, and have developed healthier coping skills over time.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

At our first session, I strive to create a welcoming environment. I will be introducing myself and provide you with some information about myself and my professional experience. I will also discuss my practice policies, confidentiality, and our contract for therapy. Then I will be collecting information from you, along with your completed intake package, to ensure I clearly understand what brought you to therapy and your goal/s for treatment.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

If I were to pick my greatest strengths, I would say my problem-solving skills and my ability to make my clients feel comfortable sharing their stories. My client says I am very genuine and they feel very comfortable knowing that I am nonjudgmental; however, more importantly, with my guidance, they have experienced improvement with their mental health over time.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My prospective clients are those who are intentional about embarking on their journey to improved mental health.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used CBT to help my clients understand how their thought patterns may affect their mood and their behavior. As an experienced therapist, I have used this treatment method with my clients to identify cognitive distortions or negative thought patterns that may be contributing to their emotional distress. I will then guide and empower my client to consider using techniques to take control of their thoughts and behaviors. Leading to emotional and their overall mental health.
