I’m Christy J. Manoharan, LPC, NCC. I provide virtual therapy for teens and adults in Georgia and Pennsylvania, helping manage anxiety, heal from trauma, and build resilience in a safe, supportive space. I believe perspective matters and how we view our thoughts, feelings, and experiences can shape the way we live. My goal is to help discover new perspectives that bring a place of wholeness, flourishing, harmony, and delight.
In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and talking about what brought you to therapy. You don’t need to have the perfect words or know exactly where to start, this is a safe space to share at your own pace. I’ll ask some gentle questions to better understand your challenges and hopes for therapy. Together, we’ll start building a plan that feels comfortable and realistic for you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling seen and heard.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is creating a safe, welcoming space where you feel truly heard and understood. I know from my own experiences with depression, social anxiety, and trauma how heavy those struggles can feel, and I believe that personal experience allows me to connect with you in a genuine way. My approach blends compassion with practical tools, helping you shift perspective, find resilience, and move toward hope.
If you’ve been carrying the weight of depression, anxiety, trauma, or major life changes, you don’t have to do it alone. I work especially with teens and adults who feel ready to grow, shift perspective, and develop healthier ways of thinking and coping. Together we can focus on resilience, healing, and moving forward.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
It's my belief that perspective matters. How we view our thoughts, feelings, and experiences can shape the way we live.I use CBT to help you recognize unhelpful thought patterns and see how these influence your emotions and behaviors. In our work together, we practice shifting perspective and building healthier ways of thinking so you can feel more balanced, confident, and equipped to handle life’s challenges.
Trauma Informed Care
I use a trauma-informed approach to create a safe, supportive space where your experiences are respected and understood. Together, we explore how past events may still impact your perspective today, and I help you develop tools to restore a sense of safety, resilience, and hope for moving forward.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
I use IFS to help you explore the different “parts” of yourself, such as the ones that feel hurt, protective, or critical, and understand how they interact. By learning to approach these parts with curiosity and compassion, you can shift perspective, heal emotional wounds, and experience a greater sense of balance and self-acceptance.

Christy has been excellent. I don't know how to evaluate a therapist, but she has been doing a great job I think. It's a good mix of talking but also learning with her.
