Hello! For almost two decades, I have been counseling clients, and I find it a great honor to walk alongside people, partnering with them in the hard. I grew up with a schizophrenic father. I felt intense fear, shame, and loneliness throughout my formative years. I did a phenomenal job at numbing pain and people pleasing, while my pain festered.
Learning how to see and feel my pain has been transformative. I am grateful for the story I have and believe the restored is always better than the original.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Atlanta, GA. I received my MSW from Walden University. In this day and time Mental Health is something that is not only overlooked but often misunderstood. I strive to provide needed support for my clients no matter what life challenges they may be facing.
I work with them to pilot through these challenges of life, whether they are personal, with family, or with peers.
I am…
passionate about providing a safe space for individuals and families to find their innate potential and achieve their dreams, regardless of gender, orientation, race, religion, neurotype or love-style. I feel called to help people find internal and external peace by living and loving more authentically.
I believe…
everyone is unique and has the potential to create the life of their dreams. I believe everyone is capable of love for their self and others. Everyone deserves empathy and support free of judgment. I believe diversity is a beautiful thing and should be celebrated.
My experience…
includes 11 years as a counselor, 43 years as a fat person, 31 years with chronic pain, 26 years practicing BDSM, 16 years loving polyamorously, and 13 years of gender exploration. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Kennesaw State University and my Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Argosy University (Atlanta). I received my LPC license in 2018 and my CPCS in 2020.
I work primarily with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy utilizing Polyvagal Theory, increasing my clients’ psychological flexibility - contacting the present moment fully as a conscious human being and changing or persisting in behavior based on chosen values. I also incorporate Family Systems Theory and Attachment Theory in both individual and relationship therapy. Our family experience greatly influences the way we relate with people in the present day. Understanding our most influential relationships can bring understanding and love for our self. In my work with relational trauma I love to incorporate Internal Family Systems and somatic exercises to heal the parts of us who were hurt or were created to protect us from harm.

With over 12 years of experience in crisis services, I bring a calm, grounded, and compassionate presence to my private practice. I am deeply passionate about working with individuals who are choosing therapy as an intentional step toward healing, growth, and emotional wellness.
I believe mental wellness—like physical health—exists on a continuum and looks different for every person. Life’s challenges can create emotional peaks and valleys, and therapy offers a supportive space to develop the insight, skills, and resilience needed to navigate them more effectively. My role is to partner with you in the therapeutic process, helping you strengthen self-regulation, build emotional awareness, and reduce the likelihood of future crises.
My clinical approach is collaborative and tailored to each client. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy, integrating mindfulness-based practices to support self-reflection, emotional balance, and long-term fulfillment. Together, we work to identify patterns, build practical coping strategies, and cultivate meaningful, sustainable change.
In addition to individual therapy, I am committed to education, training, and family support as tools to reduce stigma and increase access to mental health care. Seeking support is a strength, and you do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone.
If you are ready to invest in your mental wellness and begin a thoughtful, supportive therapeutic journey, I invite you to schedule an appointment.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor providing telehealth services to individuals and families, including students and young adults navigating anxiety, stress, and life transitions. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves while building practical coping skills, increasing self-awareness, and working toward meaningful change. My approach is collaborative and focused on helping clients feel more confident and balanced as they navigate life’s challenges.
You DESERVE to Re-SET, To Re-FUEL, To Re-CHARGE. And then TAKE FLIGHT! Since entering the field of therapy I have learned to ascribe to the adage “all behavior has meaning.” Yes, ALL behavior. A deep curiosity for why we all act and think the way we do coupled with my own life’s challenges and experiences has led me to a place of compassion for not only my own life choices but compassion for others. Our thoughts lead to feelings, which leads to action. We are not always proud of our actions. As a woman, mother, wife, and veteran I know all too well the shame that comes with our personal choices and behaviors. I also know there is also a fear of JUDGEMENT when it comes to considering therapy. This is a no-judgement zone and if you are seeking a different feeling and action in your life then you have landed at the right place!
Hi there, I'm Lorrie.

I specialize in treatments that get you grounded, with a sense of safety, acceptance of what is, and curiosity and excitement about what could be!
Before I became a therapist, I was a yoga and mindfulness educator for 30+ years. I bring my expertise in mindfulness, meditation and breath work into every session treating mind, body and spirit.

Hi! I am a licensed counselor in Florida and Georgia. I have been working as a counselor for 14 years, with a private practice for the past 9 years. I went to the University of North Florida for undergraduate and graduate school. I have worked with many populations including men and women, high achievers, professionals, veterans, who have dealt with anxiety, depression, life transitions, family and career issues, etc.
My name is Amanda Chilleme, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina, as well as a Master’s Certified Addiction Professional. For over 11 years, I have supported individuals in identifying what truly matters to them, navigating obstacles, and building a foundation for a more fulfilling future.
My primary specialty is working with men and women struggling with substance use disorders as well as process and behavioral addictions, helping them find a pathway to a life that feels less burdened and more aligned. I also have extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorders, grief and bereavement, trauma, attachment concerns, and personality disorders.
As a clinician, I take a human-focused approach. I am not here to tell you what you need to work on—you already know the what. My role is to help you understand the why, and ultimately the how: how to shift it, heal it, overcome it, or, when appropriate, let it go altogether.
Your first session is best described as a two-way interview. As I listen to your story and your narrative begins to take shape, we collaboratively determine two things:
Whether I am the right therapist for you, and
Whether this therapeutic relationship is the right fit for both of us.
If we decide to move forward together, identifying your goals becomes your first assignment. This process allows me to better understand how you think, how you interpret challenges, and how barriers such as stress, anxiety, depression, or relationship dynamics show up for you. From there, we focus on one goal at a time.
I see myself as your coach, teammate, and cheerleader!
Whether you are just beginning therapy or have been on this journey for some time, I invite you to plant that seed—and see just how beautifully you grow.
Hi.
I am a LPC in Georgia and a LCMHC in North Carolina. Additionally, I am a Nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. I received my master's degree from VCU in 2015, became licensed in 2020, and have been practicing on my own ever since. I live by two mottos "It takes a village" and "take time for you". It is important to “take time for yourself,” because we need time to recharge, so that we can continue to persevere. However, there comes a time in everyone’s life where the support of the village is needed. That’s why I believe it "takes a village” and working together as a team is important. Whether it is a clinician and client duo, or a team of medical professionals, we can achieve reasonable and practical goals.
It is my belief that every human being has dignity and worth no matter what you have gone through or experienced. I aim to provide a warm, safe, and accepting environment that is non-judgmental by which you can process and work through issues that are problematic. I work to form a therapeutic relationship with clients that is collaborative, promotes insight, and helps to foster change and wellness.
I have experience treating anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, grief and loss, anger management, and ADHD. My clinical approach is integrative, drawing from both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). However, I will implement other approaches according to the needs of my clients. My passion is to help each individual achieve their desired goals and reach their full potential. With support, encouragement, and unconditional acceptance, change is possible and life can become better. The journey towards change begins with the first step.
Hello there I'm Twaina,
I approach psychotherapy from a person-centered, supportive role, where I utilize great active listening skills first. From there, I mentor, guide, and help my client by assisting in being a change agent, helping to change thoughts and perceptions that create those judgments in life, whether judging others, situations, or self. I meet the client where they are.
When counseling, I look at the whole person not just the current situation. I take time to get to know you and understand your situation and/or concerns. I treat all my clients with the utmost respect and compassion. I use motivational skills to help my patients see their strengths and help them create achievable goals. I believe in breaking the big goal into smaller goals that lead to meeting that larger goal. I believe this creates positive reinforcement for my clients and improves their emotional health, during what could be a difficult time in their life. I look forward to helping you improve your mental health, one step at a time.
I have 8 years of experience working with ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar, addictions and co-occurring.

I attempt to provide a relaxing, non-judgmental environment, allowing people to be heard and understood, so positive change, healing and/or growth can begin. My clinical background includes working with adolescents, adults, families, and older adults across a wide range of concerns such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, adoption related challenges, ADHD, weight concerns, and LGBTQ related experiences. I hold bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Oregon, a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Foster and Adoptive Family Therapy. I blend trauma informed, brain-based, and holistic approaches including art, movement, somatic awareness, with ACT and DBT skills to help clients build resilience and reconnect with their most authentic goals. My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in cultural awareness, respect, and compassion. I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels and I strive instead to create a space where clients feel supported, empowered, and genuinely heard.
I have been providing therapy and counseling for the past nine years. I have worked in community mental health, school based settings and private practice. Growing up in a rural town with limited resources I witnessed first hand how challenging assessing care can be for most people. I tailored my practice and treatment to meet the needs of those individuals. I have been a telehealth provider since 2019 and I prioritize providing affecting treatment in both virtual and traditional settings.
I am a licensed therapist with extensive experience in addiction treatment, acute mental health, and behavioral health care. My background includes years of direct clinical work supporting individuals through some of life’s most difficult challenges, with a focus on recovery, resilience, and long-term wellness.
As a military veteran who served overseas and a cancer survivor, I bring a unique perspective to the therapeutic process. These personal experiences have deepened my empathy, strengthened my commitment to service, and given me an authentic understanding of what it means to face adversity and rebuild.

I think one of the most important parts of therapy is finding the right "fit". That relationship is key in helping grow, trust and meet any goals that you might have going into the therapeutic process. Let me give you a glimpse of who I am!
I'm Amy, a LMHC, who has been in the counseling world for over 15 years and love what I get to do. I started my career in the community health sector which I learned so much and worked with diverse groups of people with an array of various needs. I have worked in school settings as well as in homes. I have been deep within the community in many of my roles along the way.
I have developed many techniques along the way as not one intervention will work for everyone. Some of the modalities I use are EMDR, CBT, Motivational interviewing, solution-focused techniques as well as a combination of these.
I meet people where they are, maybe having to learn how they are even feeling let alone how to cope with that feeling. Maybe we have a tool, but if no one ever took the time to teach us, then what good is that tool?
I bring something to individual and couples therapy that is rare today and not from a text book, that is lived experience. In drawing from different evidence based schools of thought in combination with my lived experiences we will employ such modalities of therapy such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. Adversity and struggle are situations that are common. The goal to avoid both would be ideal but that is not reality. Peace and calmness in the mist of adversity and struggle is a possible reality and what we will strive to help you achieve.
