I got into the counseling field because I wanted to be a change agent. I want to be able to help people move to the next level in life. I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Addiction Counselor. My career as a counselor has taken me to many settings. I have worked in the criminal justice field as a counselor as well as with the Veterans populations.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session you can expect to be able to talk about any issues that brought you to treatment. You will be able to ask questions and we will take time to gain a rapport with one another.

I feel as a Therapist I bring the ability to be a sounding board. I can help guide you to solutions that will lead to positive change. We will move at your pace in a non judgemental manor.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help change thinking patters and recognize distortion in thinking.
Motivational Interviewing
I use motivational interviewing with clients to elicit and strengthen change in clients.
Strength-Based
I use Strength based therapy to allow the client to tell their story and have the mindset of being a survivor of trauma.
