I enjoy working with women and teens and helping them discover how to be the best version of self. I strive to help women and children to express their needs, wants and conflicts with themselves and their families using tools from EMDR, Play, Sand, DBT and TF-CBT I have 10 years of working directly with children and partnering with their families. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Counseling Supervisor in the state of Georgia. I have specialized and trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, EMDR, DBT and Play therapy. I'm always looking forward to helping individuals and families heals. I always encourage families to understand we can get through hard things. I believe in giving individuals the resources they need to heal and move forward in life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable — especially if you’ve experienced trauma. That’s why our first session is all about creating a sense of safety and comfort. You don’t need to prepare anything or know exactly what to say. This is simply a space for us to begin getting to know each other. In our first session, we will: Talk about what brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping for Explore any questions or concerns you have about the process Go over confidentiality and how I work, so you feel informed and supported Begin to build a foundation of trust, understanding, and collaboration There’s no pressure to share your whole story right away. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. My role is to listen with care, to honor your experiences, and to help you feel grounded as we begin your healing journey together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What sets my work apart is my deep commitment to walking alongside you on your path of healing — not pushing, not pulling, but meeting you exactly where you are. My approach is: Trauma-informed and compassionate: I understand how trauma impacts the mind, body, and nervous system. I create a space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported — without pressure or judgment. Relational and collaborative: I believe healing happens in connection. Together, we build a trusting relationship that allows you to explore your story, your pain, and your resilience at your own pace. Holistic and practical: I integrate evidence-based practices (such as EMDR, somatic techniques, or mindfulness, depending on your training) with tools to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and in control of your life. Focused on long-term change: My goal isn’t just symptom relief — it’s helping you reclaim your sense of self, strengthen your inner resources, and create a life that feels meaningful and authentic. Healing isn’t linear, and it isn’t easy — but it is possible. I’m here to support you as you take each step forward.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in supporting women who have experienced trauma and are navigating the emotional and psychological impact that can follow. Many of my clients come to me carrying the weight of PTSD, anxiety, or depression, often feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves and others. You may be: Struggling with flashbacks, nightmares, or intrusive thoughts Feeling constantly on edge, anxious, or emotionally numb Battling self-doubt, shame, or a harsh inner critic Longing to feel safe, empowered, and more in control of your life again You might not have all the words to describe what you’re feeling, but you know something isn’t right — and you’re ready to begin healing. My approach is gentle, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I’m here to help you reconnect with your strength, rebuild your sense of safety, and create lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.
