Lack of a sense of identity. Trying to survive in a world where we are told to live and think a certain way. My specific focus is working with individuals to break down walls. Understand how past events might be affecting them today in their relationship dynamics, their career, why they make the choices they make. Setting a path to find themselves and be the best versions of themselves. This might involve tapping into their creativity and not being afraid to dream. I highly encourage using one's imagination. A lot of those whom struggle with depression and anxiety have nervous systems that are in constant survival and are not even aware of that. I work with clients on finding modalities to help them break out of survival mode and feel safe in their daily lives. My approach is more holistic: mind/body/spirit. My preferred practice is spiritually based, but I am happy to work with those whom do not prefer that approach.
