New to Grow
I am welcoming to all who struggle with anger, trauma, psychosis, and stage of life issues such as divorce or loss. I specialize in substance abuse, anger, trauma, psychosis, and domestic violence. I enjoy using Jungian psychology as a resource to help people explore the depth of their struggles and find hope on the other side. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused therapy as tools to accomplish this. Things can get better, and we can be okay--no matter what life brings our way. I enjoy the opportunity to help people explore and move their lives forward. There is always hope, and there is always opportunity to grow.
In our first session I will listen. I want to know what concerns you have, what the biggest priorities are for you. In the course of that discussion we will find our common ground and we will have opened the doors to healing.
I am curious, exploratory, and want to help. I utilize empathy and reflective listening, and can also be directive when necessary. Your goals are my goals.
I welcome anyone struggling with life transitions who wants to feel better and move forward. Life can throw difficult situations our way, and it can be hard to stand firm in spite of that. I would like to help you find the resources inside yourself to overcome.
I am trained in CBT and have practiced this for over a decade, I also integrate motivational interviewing, brief solution focused, and Jungian psychoanalysis.
I utilize this to add value to our communication and content.
I am actively exploring and engaging with Jungian Depth psychology, and as a result it leaks into the techniques I use for exploration in sessions
Not every issue needs complex solutions. We will utilize solution focused treatment to see what issues we can solve with immediacy while we explore for deeper, core issues.
