Hi! I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) based out of Florida. I work with people of all ages to address a variety of concerns including trauma, anxiety, depression, Bipolar Disorder, substance abuse, and relationship issues. My hope is to create a safe space for us to explore solutions to whatever problems you want to focus on.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session together we will get to know one another and I’ll gather information to help us determine your goals and develop a treatment plan tailored to you and your needs.

Having worked in the field for 13 years, I have gained experience working with all types of diagnoses and people of all ages. I aim to help my clients gain the most progress in the least amount of time so they can focus on enjoying their lives and not spend all of their time in therapy.

EMDR
EMDR stands for eye movement desensitization and reprocessing and is used to treat trauma. Sometimes, we are not aware of how our past experiences are impacting our current behavior and EMDR can help figure out the root of that behavior so it can be addressed. For example, if you are struggling with procrastination, EMDR can help us figure out when and why the procrastination started and help to resolve that issue. EMDR not only addresses the memory, but the negative belief you may have gained about yourself or the world because of that incident which makes EMDR useful in treating a variety of problems including low self-esteem and relationship issues.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all connected and CBT can be helpful to treat anxiety and depression with quick results.
