Hi! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. I work with individuals of all ages to help them navigate challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use, and relationship concerns. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you feel supported and understood as we work toward meaningful change together. In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know one another and discuss what brings you to therapy. Together, we’ll identify your goals and begin creating a personalized treatment plan that fits your needs, pace, and comfort level. This session sets the foundation for our work together and ensures you feel heard and supported from day one.
With over 14 years of experience in the mental health field, I’ve worked with clients across a wide range of diagnoses and life experiences. I take pride in helping clients achieve noticeable progress in a short amount of time—so therapy becomes a meaningful part of their growth, not their whole life. My approach is results-oriented, compassionate, and tailored to empower you with tools and insight you can use long after therapy ends.
I enjoy working with teens and adults who are ready to explore their emotions, confront old patterns, and create meaningful change. I am especially honored to serve first responders and have completed the Clinician Awareness Program through Hillsborough County Fire Rescue. EMDR is an evidence-based therapy proven to help people recover from trauma and distressing experiences. Sometimes, we aren’t aware of how past events continue to shape our present thoughts, emotions, or behaviors. EMDR helps your brain reprocess those memories so you can move forward without being held back by the past. It’s effective for trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem, and relationship struggles—and can create deep, lasting relief.
CBT focuses on the powerful link between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful patterns, challenge negative thinking, and develop healthier coping skills. CBT is especially effective for anxiety and depression and often leads to meaningful change in a short period of time.

Kim is a wonderful therapist. She is very easy to talk to and makes you feel comfortable by creating a safe space. She listens attentively, she's genuine, patient, supportive, empowering and offers excellent insights. I've been a client of hers for about 2 years now.
