Hi! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. I received my undergraduate degree from Florida State University, and Masters from the University of Denver. I have been working in the mental health field for almost ten years in different roles. In my current practice, I help young adults struggling with depression and anxiety to develop coping skills and become the best versions of themselves.

I’m here to walk alongside you, helping you navigate challenges with humor, metaphors, and a focus on what really matters—so you can build a happier, more authentic life for yourself and those you care about.

I am passionate about helping people of all ages get the support they need during challenging times in their lives. I use a mindfulness-based, CBT, and DBT approach in session but tailor treatment to your individual client needs. We can all use extra support and sometimes that comes in the form of a therapist, someone who can listen and help you unravel the complexities of life that you are struggling with.

With a warm, client-centered approach, I specialize in solution-focused therapy to help clients identify strengths, develop coping strategies, and achieve meaningful change. My approach is collaborative and fosters meaningful change and resilience in children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. I am also EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) trained and incorporate trauma-informed care into my practice, helping individuals process past experiences that may be impacting their present. My work draws on a range of evidence-based techniques tailored to each client's needs, whether they are navigating relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, grief, or life transitions.

Going through a change can be very tough and hard to navigate. Whether the changes are good or difficult, they can still be hard to work through. I can help you find a balance with the changes occurring in your life and the peace you hope to feel. Together we can work as a team to locate solutions to find acceptance and work out a plan to help you move forward in your life in a way that brings fulfillment. I use a whole self-approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. Although I can help you work through most changes you might be experiencing, I have many year's experience working with individuals in the Hospice setting, helping patients and survivors find peace during the end of life with dignity. These experiences have been strengthened by my personal journey with breast cancer, which has given me a perspective on the other side. I hope I can use my 29 years experience as a therapist and my personal experience as a cancer survivor to help you learn how to find happiness and peace in your life.
