Hello! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Provisional Art Therapist (ATR-P) based in Florida. I received my Masters in Counseling with an Art Therapy certification at Antioch University in Seattle, Washington. I’m also EMDR trained since 2019. I’ve been practicing for approximately 4 years helping adults struggling with ptsd, substance abuse, anxiety, and depression in creating effective strategies and therapeutic tools to manage and alleviate distressing symptoms.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Through the use of a personalized treatment approach, we will work together to put your traumatic past behind you by focusing on stabilization that may help you make and sustain changes to your mind, soul and body. The work we will do together will leave you feeling stronger and more confident. I hope that at the end of our intake, you’ll leave feeling as if you don't have to deal with your issues by yourself anymore.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

With my experiences as a client in a therapy setting, I want to make sure to bring my own experience into bringing a safe and open environment for my clients. Taking the first step into therapy is the hardest and I want to make sure you leave with effective tools to continue being your version of a better, healthy self.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Whether you have gone through a traumatic experience or are dealing with unmanageable anxiety or depression, I believe that it is possible to heal from whatever struggles you bring into our session. I strive to provide a safe and open space to start your healing by learning how to manage your life again. We will work together to seek relief from PTSD symptoms, substance abuse and stress management. In addition, I also work with people who need help navigating difficult life transitions and relationship issues.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I used cognitive behavioral therapy as an effective treatment to help guide my clients in developing and enhancing self-awareness in understanding their thoughts, feelings/emotions and behaviors to alleviate debilitating symptoms.

EMDR

I used Eye-Movement Destabilization and Reprocessing therapy as an additional tool with CBT to help process traumatic memories.
