I am a Seminary trained Licensed Clinical Therapist and a Military Combat Veteran with experience serving in ministry overseas for over 12 years. I have collaborated and successfully worked with clients from many different backgrounds, cultures, ethnicity, sexual orientations, and religious faiths that struggle with different mental disorders, health conditions and stressors including but not limited to anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and trauma. I specialize in treating adults but will consider seeing adolescents over age 15.
On our very first session we do a brief introduction into counseling. We will discuss what has brought the person to counseling and the challenges they are facing. Therapist and Client will work together to build the right treatment plan for them.
I approach therapy in a practical way and bring various life experiences to session. I am also a Combat Veteran and a mother. I have experience working with various clients and backgrounds i.e. adults, adolescents, teens, women, men, and people with various cultural and religious backgrounds.
My passion is to help people understand their life struggles and collaborate to find the best way for them not only to process through their trauma but to find a way forward and live life and not just survive through life. To find healing and restore peace to their lives.
I used and use a wide variety of tools to meet my clients needs.
