I have experience working with individuals who live with a severe mental illness. I work with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, self –esteem issues, familial issues, codependency and trauma. I am Jacqueline Screen, but most call me Jackie. I graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a Master’s in Marriage & Family Therapy from Saint Thomas University. I worked with a variety of age groups that exposed me to facilitate individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy and interventions. I also have over a decade of experience working in the fitness and wellness industry, which has influenced my therapy style, as I believe a healthy body leads to a healthy mind; therefore, activity and movement are highly encouraged and praised when working with me. I became a therapist mostly due to my interest in individuals and the recognition that everyone has their own story to tell. I believe each person is unique in their own way and we all have experiences that shape us into who we are today. I am an outgoing and nonjudgmental individual, which allowed me to make many positive relationships with a variety of different people growing up.
