I am a veteran, a spouse and mother, and a licensed clinical social worker. I have been in this field since 2020, providing therapy to clients with trauma, anxiety, depression, and various other challenges in their lives. I consider myself to be a guide and teacher helping client discover their true worth and strengths so that they can live the life they deserve.
In the first session, generally I am collecting data from the client to determine what their needs are. I will assess for safety to make sure this is the right platform for the client, and then work with the client to build a plan of action around the areas they have come to therapy to address.
I have a wide range of experience helping a wide range of people from different backgrounds. I have experiences that can help the client feel seen, heard, and understood, and am willing to learn from my clients.
I can help teens and adults worth through trauma, anxiety, depression, life changes, and a multitude of other challenges they may be facing.
I help clients explore what barriers are preventing them from feeling worthy and identify ways they are able to take the small steps needed to improve their day to day life.
I help client identify exactly what is causing them the most distress and work to quickly work on focusing how to reduce or erase the impact of the things that cause distress.
I help client focus on what they are in control of and accept that there are things that are awful but are out of their control. You learn to change what you can and be at peace with what you can't change.
