I am a licensed mental health counselor with several years of experience in private practice. I have been working with children, teens, adults, couples and families, accompanying my clients in their processes toward achieving higher levels of wellbeing and overall health. I am a mother of two grown women, I have a rescue dog and a cat, and I practice self care by walking outdoors everyday as I listen to music and enjoy nature. I am working on a couple of writing projects that hopefully I’ll share with you in the near future. I specialize in CBT, solution focus, talk therapy, and I apply skills of psycho-drama and play therapy with my youngest clients. I have helped people with anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction, acculturation issues, grief, academic performance, self-image, relational issues, and LGTBQ advocacy. I actually started my "therapy" journey when I was a child, and I would go with my grandmother, who was a healer, and I was able to be present during many end-of-life events. I also have degrees in journalism that assisted me in learning the importance listening and helping a person tell their story, which can in itself be very healing.

What would it feel like to be heard, to know that you are valued and cared about and to believe that there is real hope for your future? Are you struggling, anxious, grieving, overwhelmed? You are not alone. Life is really hard right now. You deserve self care and support. Difficult and painful experiences can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and others. As both a Wisconsin and Florida licensed mental health counselor (LPC, LMHC), I offer you a safe place to talk about and explore all those concerns.

Hi there, I'm Betty. Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or major life changes? Maybe you're experiencing a lack of healthy boundaries in relationships or aren't living the life you were meant to lead. Whatever your needs, I am an experienced licensed mental health counselor who works with those struggling with relationship issues, grief, trauma, mood disorders, boundaries, anxiety, depression, daily life struggles etc. Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery. Transformation and healing are obtained by developing a positive outlook and the adoption of new attitudes and responses. My purpose as a therapist is to help you along the path to a functional and fulfilling life. Whether the obstacles to achieving this goal are habits and behaviors you want to change, relationship issues, or present and past traumas. We will work together to develop a comprehensive plan to alleviate or minimize stressors and struggles. The goal is to move in positive directions while establishing healthy coping skills. There are many reasons that a person may seek counseling. Facing hardships in life can be very difficult, especially when trying to navigate them alone. Letting others into our pain and circumstances can be scary. It can also be a time for immense growth. Therapy can provide both support and hope as you work towards a greater sense of wholeness and healing. I enjoy helping people gain a greater sense of identity and purpose through a creative, emotionally focused, and experiential approach to therapy. Whether dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome any challenges and barriers holding you back. Let's work together!

Feeling stuck, disconnected, or frustrated and not sure why? You’re not alone. Maybe your relationships aren’t what they used to be. Maybe your focus is all over the place. Or maybe you just feel like something is off, and it’s starting to affect your work, your energy, and your confidence. I work with individuals who want more out of life but feel held back by something they can’t quite name. Whether it’s trauma from the past or symptoms of ADHD that were never addressed, we’ll figure it out—together. I provide long-term, results-driven therapy in a supportive yet challenging environment where you can finally start making sense of what’s going on. With over 12 years of experience and dual Master’s degrees from Barry University, I bring both training and real-world perspective to our work. I’m a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), and I’m trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and EMDR—two powerful tools for working through trauma and getting out of survival mode. My approach is straightforward and collaborative. We’ll identify the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that are interfering with your daily life and build a better framework that supports clarity, stability, and self-control. I do this work because I’ve seen the transformations that are possible when individuals commit to the process. Therapy doesn’t have to be abstract or feel like guesswork; you’ll get a plan that fits who you are. You don’t have to keep feeling this way. Book an intake session today and take the first step toward feeling like yourself again.

My counseling modalities are Christian Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Play therapy. I work with children and adolescents with emotional trauma, PTSD, depression, and oppositional defiant/ behavioral issues. I'm a bilingual licensed psychotherapist (LMHC) based in Miami, originally from Puerto Rico. I provide individual therapy in both English and Spanish, creating a space where you don’t have to explain your culture, your identity or why you feel like you don’t quite fit in. I earned my Master’s in Psychology from Albizu University and my Bachelor’s degree back home in San Juan, Puerto Rico, shaping my ability to blend cultural sensitivity with evidence-based care. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, grief, identity struggles, relationship challenges, narcissistic abuse, and the unique experiences of the LGBTQ+ community. My style is warm, honest, and a little humorous when it helps, because healing doesn’t have to be scripted. If you’ve ever felt misunderstood, emotionally drained, or stuck in survival mode, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. Healing isn’t about rushing toward a silver lining. Some pain doesn’t come with a lesson and that’s totally fine. I believe healing is still possible, even in the darkest moments, not because we need to erase the pain, but because we learn to sit with it, honor it, and grow from it only when we’re ready!

Living with Anxiety, Depression, Panic or OCD can feel overwhelming. It can make tasks at work feel like it’s all too much to handle. In our personal lives, it can make us feel disconnected from the people we love as well as the activities we used to derive happiness from. Even though we develop ways to cope and talking with friends and family can help, these feelings never really fully go away. Thankfully, a structured approach to therapy can help. It is possible to feel comfortable or even excited to interact with people, enjoy your work each day and find meaning! As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of counseling experience, I place an emphasis on establishing therapeutic goals, developing a plan and highlighting the progress clients make towards personal change. I also understand the importance of establishing a genuine therapeutic connection based on compassion and empathy with each person I work with. In my experience, this serves as the foundation for meaningful progress in therapy. My primary approaches to counseling include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered and Solution Focused Therapy.

My name is John A. Llauget. I hold a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University and an Educational Specialist Degree in Counseling from University of South Florida. My career in mental health in 1977 working in a psychiatric hospital; and later as a outpatient therapist in a community mental health center working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. I was licensed in Florida in 1986 as a Mental Health Counselor and have maintained my license since that date. Also I have worked as an employee assistance counselor, school counselor, associate professor at an international university, and court evaluator for guardianship cases. For 20 years I worked as a cancer counselor with oncology clients helping them cope with illness, stress, and emotional distress. Additionally I have maintained a practice and interest in Traditional Okinawan Uechi-Ryu, earning a Masters rank in that system of training. I have used martial training with children & adolescents to develop self-control and self esteem. Later when I began working with an elderly population and clients dealing with physical limitations, I taught Qigong and Mindfulness Meditation as a way to improve their health, well-being, and cope with stress. My therapeutic style centers around getting to know a client, develop trust, and talking more explicitly about issues before making any recommendations. I am a strong advocate of evidence-based treatments and teaching ‘tools’ to cope with stress and emotional difficulties. I have gained training in trauma treatment because we now know that it is prevalent in our life experiences. I value compassion, persistence, and patience in working towards change. I look forward to working with you. I also value your time and want to use it productively in assisting you to reach your therapeutic goals.

I’m not your typical therapist—and that’s intentional. You won’t find me in a blazer with a clipboard asking, *“And how does that make you feel?”* I show up in jeans and a t-shirt, ready to create a space that’s real, safe, and grounded in trust. Therapy with me feels more like a conversation than a clinical interrogation. I specialize in working with people who’ve been through a lot—first responders, survivors of sexual and physical abuse, those navigating PTSD, narcissistic abuse, childhood trauma, and members of the LGBTQ+ community who often carry the weight of being misunderstood or marginalized. I’m here to walk beside you through the mess, the pain, and the healing—not to observe you from a distance. I also live with ADHD, so I get what it’s like to feel scattered, overstimulated, or like your brain works just a little differently. I bring that understanding into the room—not just professionally, but personally. Whether you're neurodivergent yourself or just need someone who gets it, you’re in the right place. I believe trauma requires more than textbook techniques—it requires presence, patience, and a genuine connection. My style is relaxed, honest, and supportive. I’ll meet you exactly where you are, without judgment or pressure, and we’ll work together to help you feel whole again. Healing doesn’t have to be clinical or cold—it can be real, raw, and even a little bit human. That’s what I offer.

Hi, nice to meet you; my name is Helen Roberts. I’ve been a therapist since 2000, graduating from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. I have a unique combination of 20-plus years of experience working with Christian Counseling, Trauma Treatment, Attachment Therapy, Sexual Addiction, Betrayal trauma, Couples, Adults, and children. I began seeing clients two years earlier while working as a secondary therapist with families having children at risk of being removed, as well as attachment issues. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), CBT with children, Attachment therapy, and as a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist and many other modalities. I am board certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors. I started the Trauma and Recovery Center in Green Bay, WI. I was one the founding members of Peace Makers Ministries and Under His Wings Ministries, working with attachment issues, trauma recovery, and Christian counseling. In 2015, I began training as a Certified Sexual, Addiction Therapist (CSAT), supervised by Dr. Kenneth Adams. I was trained in Betrayal Trauma by Dr. Kevin Skinner. Since that time, I have continued to work with attachment, adoption issues, trauma issues, sexual addiction, pornography addiction, anxiety, depression, and betrayal trauma. These types of therapy mean that I can work with you if you have difficulty connecting with your mom or dad, saw or experienced abandonment or rejection, or were involved with a traumatic (to you) event. I work with children, couples, individuals, and families. You deserve recovery and healing with a well-trained therapist who specializes in the modalities for your healing. I know you may not know how to fix your situation or relationship right now, but I know how to help. Request an appointment today; let’s start the conversation.

Hello, my name is Bryan, I am a licensed clinical social worker and have experience working in several clinical and therapeutic settings. I started my career working for Advent Health Hospice Care, one of the largest non-profit hospital systems in the country. Through this position I gained experience in providing therapeutic counseling services to individuals and families who are going through major transitional periods in their lives (receiving a terminal illness, death of loved one, living adjustments etc.) As a result I am well experienced in dealing with depression, anxiety, situational stress, loss of a loved one, grief, and am understanding of how medical issues can affect a person’s mental health. I have also worked for Orlando Health at the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies covering the ED/Triage, antepartum and postpartum units of the hospital. This position gave me experience with providing crisis interventions and psychotherapeutic counseling to patient's who have a history of severe mental health issues, or who are actively experiencing medical emergencies, traumatic events, domestic violence, manic/depressive episodes, psychotic episodes, and suicidal ideations. In addition, I provided education on post partum depression and child care. In 2021 I began teaching classes as an Adjunct Professor for the University of Central Florida's College of Health Professions and Sciences. I have also worked for the National Suicide Prevention Line where I learned how to deal with a variety of mental health and emotional crisis situations over the phone. I feel well equipped to help my clients deal with a variety of issues, weather in person, or online. I take an objective and collaborative approach to understanding problems, and work with clients to create strategies to address problems head on so that clients learn the skills necessary to achieve their goals.

I am a professional characterized by her humanism and vocation for service who firmly believes that the good life is a process, not a state of being, it is a direction, not a destination. Therapy is a path to self-knowledge. Therapy helps to redefine problems and see them as opportunities, learning. You need to be brave to enter the path of therapy, you need commitment and willingness, only then will you see results.

To feel truly seen, heard, and understood is one of the most powerful experiences we can have—and it can also be incredibly healing. Therapy offers a space where you are invited to bring your full self: your thoughts, your feelings, your fears, your hopes, and the parts of your story that may feel confusing, heavy, or difficult to carry alone. My goal is to help create that space for you—one grounded in empathy, trust, and safety. When we begin to explore who we are on a deeper level, we open the door to greater self-awareness and meaningful change. In the therapeutic relationship, I strive to support you in reconnecting with your inner voice and your emotional truths. I believe we all carry the answers we seek within us—but sometimes, life’s challenges can make them hard to hear or trust. Whether you are navigating a specific struggle or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, you deserve support that honors your unique story. Life can be both beautiful and incredibly complex. It brings joys, transitions, losses, and moments of uncertainty that can feel overwhelming when we’re trying to face them on our own. Without the right tools or support, stress, anxiety, sadness, or feelings of being “stuck” can take root. My hope is to walk alongside you through those challenges—to help you name what you’re feeling, explore what matters most to you, and build a stronger connection with yourself.
