Hi, I am so glad you reached out for support. My name is Zelimna Taveras. I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I have over 8 years of counseling experience. I have worked with children, adolescents, families, and adults with a wide range of concerns including trauma and abuse, coping with grief and loss, depression, parenting issues, self-esteem, anxiety, and anger management. Whatever struggles you are currently dealing with, I am here to support you as best as I can through this process. Therapy can be a bit scary, but you are making the right choice by taking the steps to improve your mental health. I offer a safe space where you can feel heard, seen, and understood, but also be held accountable for making decisions and changes that will be meaningful to your life.

After our initial session, we will work together to explore goals and objectives for our journey together. I provide psychoeducation, therapeutic interventions, and support to help you understand your concerns and find your true self.

"Warm" was always going to be the 1st choice in adjective. Because every session feels like a long overdue very warm, very big hug. I didnt want to use "Direct" because paired with "Warm" it doesnt sound quite right. But I wanted to highlight that she is very good at balancing in communication. Shes able to hold me accountable when its time to, and remind me of my humanity when I'm too harsh on myself. Honestly 500 characters isnt enough, so I'll say, Ive never been more thankful to have met her
