I specialize in panic disorders, depression, bipolar and disordered eating. Not only do I help treat these disorders, but I help clients completely be rid of them! Believe it or not, panic, anxiety and depression don’t have to be life-sentences, and you don’t just have to just learn “coping skills”. These disorders are symptoms of a root problem that can be undone in therapy! I have helped many people break free of their lifelong anxiety and depressive symptoms in just a few months. Therapy can really work if you have a competent therapist, who does more than just listen to your problems! I love supporting my clients to make mental and practical changes that allow them to finally have the peace they’ve been looking for. Be encouraged – it’s absolutely possible! You are not alone in your struggle, and you don’t have to stay where you are! Let this be the day you take that first step – to become the person you were made to be and fulfill the unique calling in your life. I’m a first-generation, Vietnamese, transgender, and queer therapist who brings both professional training and lived experience to the work. My approach is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story. In my practice, I often draw from EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients process trauma and experiences in a way that feels restorative. EMDR supports the brain’s natural healing by using bilateral stimulation—like eye or auditory movements —to reprocess memories and reduce their emotional intensity. I also use Narrative Therapy, which invites clients to explore the stories they’ve been told or have come to believe about themselves. Together, we uncover how those stories were shaped—by culture, relationships, systems, or past experiences—and work toward reclaiming narratives that center resilience, agency, and authenticity. I understand the importance of creating a space where clients feel seen, affirmed, and safe to show up as their full selves. Whether you’re navigating trauma, identity exploration, or simply seeking to reconnect with yourself, I’m here support you in that process with care, collaboration, and accountability. Are you looking for a mental health letter for gender-affirming surgery? I write those! Feel free to reach out for short-term therapy services to complete the letter assessment process with me. My practice uses old fashioned, human-generated tools and information methodically accumulated over years of community and evidenced based research. I do not use AI programs at any point in the therapeutic process. *I am not currently accepting family, couples, or group counseling inquiries* *Pls inquire about my reduced rate spots at $150/hr*

My focus is on cognitive behavioral therapy and complicated grief therapy. Sometimes we have to face our losses to be able to move forward, sometimes we have to confront our negative thoughts to clear our mind and focus on what is in front of us now. We try to cope with the world’s challenges based on the values and strengths we built during childhood, but there are many ways to rekindle our creativity and joy as adults to re imagine a new path. I am a compassionate listener who can hold a non- judgemental space for patients to share their beliefs, desires and concerns.
