Growing up I was challenged with depression and anxiety along with familial dysfunction. When I heard about psychology in sixth grade, I decided I wanted to be a psychologist. After starting a family and enduring an abusive marriage I went back to school to become a mental health therapist. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and challenging others to open their minds to a different way of thinking. Working with individuals as well as parents and couples is rewarding and fostering change for healthier relationships is truly beautiful.
Being a therapist is a lifelong passion for me and is rooted in my dedication to supporting adults, children, families, and communities in building safety, resilience, and hope. My journey has taken me from my home county of Santa Cruz where I advocated and ran groups for youth living in situations including domestic violence from 2011-2013, to working as a shelter counselor in Oakland for youth 13-21 from 2016-2018. I worked in serving famillies with San Francisco Child and Family Services, where I partnered with families navigating reunification with their children while providing psychoeducation and crisis counseling during critical moments from 2018-2022. I have been licensed with my LCSW since May 2025 and focused my prior professional development around harm reduction and culturally focused treatment, aligning with my commitment to social justice and culturally responsive care.

Hi there, I’m Michelle,
Have you not felt like yourself lately? Are you struggling to find that happy, healthy, hopeful place in life? Whether it be from relationships, personal, or just life, sometimes we can just feel overwhelmed and out of sync with who we were or who we would like to become.
I am here to help facilitate that change. Together we can target the obstacles in your life and make a plan of action to put you on the right path. By using an integrative approach with effective therapeutic modalities we focus on the whole being to get you in balance.

I will meet you right where you are and provide a safe place for you to thrive and move forward.
“If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.” ~Martin Luther King Jr.

Marjorie graduated with both a bachelor's degree in social work and a master's degree in clinical social work from California State University Los Angeles.

Marjorie has extensive experience in social work, advocacy, case management and mental health services for over 18 years.
Marjorie has provided psychotherapy services for adults and children from various cultural backgrounds, she’s sensitive to the linguistic needs of the clients served (Spanish/English).
Areas of focus: Assessment and diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, counseling (short term specific or situational issues), psychotherapy (long term broader range for mental illness) and crisis intervention.
I am a down-to-earth and collaborative therapist who believes that the foundation of effective healing is a genuine, honest connection. I prioritize creating a transparent environment where you feel heard and respected, allowing us to work as true partners in your mental health journey. My approach is grounded in the belief that therapy is most effective when it is practical, straightforward, and focused on your unique reality.
In our sessions, I value honesty and the identification of healthy, realistic goals. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), where we work together to uncover the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By identifying irrational thinking patterns and challenging negative self-talk, we can begin to reframe your narrative in a way that serves your growth rather than hindering it.
I understand that starting therapy can feel like a significant step, which is why I focus on providing a non-judgmental space where we can tackle challenges at your pace. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, daily stress, or life transitions, my goal is to provide you with a functional toolkit of strategies you can use long after our sessions end. Together, we will move toward a more balanced, resilient, and fulfilling life.
Through connection, empathy and a non-judgmental approach, I offer ways to help you discover what may be blocking you from finding your true path in life. By not seeing an individual for what symptoms they have or what is affecting them, I am more interested in helping you find what is the cause of symptoms and how to process them.
I work with adults from all backgrounds. I am also open to any culture, belief, identification or orientation. All are welcome. I base all individual therapy on a client-focused approach and adapt sessions to the needs of each person.
I specialize in working with high-functioning women who appear “fine” on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck underneath. Many of my clients are successful, self-aware, and driven - but struggle with burnout, relationship patterns, or a constant sense of pressure they can’t turn off. I’m a more direct and engaged therapist than traditional talk therapy. I don’t just listen, I help you identify the deeper patterns driving your anxiety and work with you to actually change them.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist (PsyD) with extensive experience working in residential treatment, sober living, and private practice settings since 2010. My career began as an intern in an eating disorder residential program, later expanding into adolescent dual-diagnosis treatment. Alongside completing my doctorate in clinical psychology, I launched my private practice, where I continue to work with clients through Telehealth.
I am passionate about helping people reach their full potential by embracing their strengths while learning to accept their vulnerabilities. My clients inspire me every day, and seeing their success stories fuels my dedication to this work.

You may be on the right path, but stumbled, fell, or got lost along the way. Or you may be struggling to find the path. I want to help. In therapy, I aim to create a calm, sturdy, emotionally open, and radically nonjudgmental space where you can be deeply curious about your own experience. A patient, open-ended space where you can take your time. A space where you can slow down, breathe, reflect, be quiet or silent. A space where you can be loud, angry, triggered, upset. A space where you don't have to make sense, but we can try to make sense of things together. A space where we both can be genuinely curious about who you are.
I'm Kim, I love the outdoors and nature. I have a passion for animals and have several pets that I spend my free time with. Faith and religion are a big part of my life and upbringing and have been a big part of my moral compass through life's many trials. I believe that everyone should be accepted as they are and not judged for their choices or who they have become. I have a heart for helping others, especially those that feel lost or stuck. I strive to develop a great working relationship with my clients so that they may thrive in their own lives and circumstances and feel comfortable talking to me about anything that may be bothering them. Thriving and happiness are found within ourselves and I hope to help you unlock your full potential no matter your beliefs or background, and no matter how deeply your potential is buried inside of you.
I work with individuals seeking meaningful change, greater clarity, and a stronger sense of self. My approach is grounded in warmth, empathy, and the ability to meet clients where they are—supporting them in feeling seen, understood, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges.
My work is informed by more than 60 years of life experience, both professional and personal, which brings depth, perspective, and authenticity to the therapeutic process. Through my own work in therapy and career counseling, I chose to return to school and build the life and practice I have today. This journey continues to shape my compassion, insight, and respect for the courage it takes to pursue growth and healing.
I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Santa Clara University in California. In alignment with California requirements for licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist, I completed 3,000 supervised clinical internship hours at Almaden Valley Counseling Agency in San Jose, where I worked with individuals, couples, families, and children. Do you ever feel overwhelmed or stuck in the same relationship patterns?
Life can bring emotional and mental challenges that leave us feeling lost, disconnected, or unsure of what to do next. My goal is to help you make sense of what’s happening, deepen your understanding of yourself, and find healthier ways to move through difficult moments.
For over 20 years, I’ve worked with men and women who are tired of always putting others first. Together, we’ll explore what’s keeping you stuck and work toward greater clarity, confidence, and direction—so you can build relationships, and a life, that feel more authentic and fulfilling.
I specialize in relationship issues, supporting young adults, couples and families. Attachment injuries and loss can affect how we feel about ourselves and limit our engagement with others. I can help you identify and let go of emotional reactivity and defensiveness. I offer Somatic therapy and EMDR to support people struggling with post-traumatic stress.
