New to Grow
Hi, I'm Ana, a licensed clinical social worker dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's transitions, heal from trauma, and build emotional resilience. I work with young adults who are seeking understanding, clarity, and meaningful change. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their emotions, strengthen their sense of self, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and authentic.
In the first session, we focus on understanding your experiences and what brought you to therapy. We'll clarify goals, establish a plan, and create a safe, collaborative environment to begin building insight, coping skills, and growth.
I communicate with warmth, empathy, and authenticity. I listen with curiosity and compassion and aim to create an open, comfortable space where clients feel safe to share, reflect, and grow through honest and supportive conversations. I also take a client-centered, collaborative approach using CBT to help clients manage anxiety, depression, and stress. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can feel heard, gain insight, and grow with confidence.
I mostly work with young adults navigating life transitions who are figuring out who they are, what they want, and how to move forward after difficult experiences. Many come to me wanting to process past traumas, build healthier relationships, or simply feel more grounded and confident in their own skin. I also love supporting first-time moms who are adjusting to motherhood while trying to hold onto their sense of self. My clients are often insightful and motivated for change, even if they're not sure where to start--they just know they're ready to feel more at peace within themselves.
I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns that impact mood and behavior. I use CBT in a collaborative way to help clients build insight into the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and actions.
I have extensive experience using a trauma-informed approach that emphasizes safety, trust, and empowerment in the therapeutic relationship. I understand how trauma impacts a person's emotions, relationships, and sense of self, and I integrate this awareness into every part of my practice. My goal is to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and in control of their healing process. I use grounding techniques, psyhcoeducation, and gentle exploration to help clients build regulation skills and make sense of their experiences at their own pace.
