New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade of experience specializing in trauma and relationship dynamics, including narcissistic and emotional abuse recovery. I work with high-functioning adults who feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, offering a direct, insight-driven approach that goes beyond surface-level coping. My work is focused on helping clients gain clarity, break deeply ingrained patterns, and develop healthier, more secure ways of relating, to themselves and others.
I tend to get a clear sense of what’s going on fairly quickly. In our first session, we’ll focus on identifying the core issues and patterns, not just the surface-level concerns. I ask direct, targeted questions and provide honest feedback, so you can expect clarity and meaningful insight from the start. My goal is that every client leaves with more than just empathy—you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of your situation and a clearer sense of what needs to change.
I don’t take a passive approach to therapy. I’m highly attuned to patterns and can often identify what’s going on quickly, even when clients feel confused or stuck. My work is focused on clarity, not just comfort, clients leave sessions with insight, direction, and a better understanding of themselves and their relationships. What makes my approach unique is the combination of direct feedback, deep pattern recognition, and practical tools that create meaningful, lasting change.
I primarily work with adults who are ready to take an honest look at themselves and their patterns, especially in relationships. Many of my clients come in feeling stuck, repeating the same dynamics, struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, or recovering from emotionally unhealthy or abusive relationships. I’m a more direct therapist, and I work best with clients who are open to feedback and motivated for real change. My approach is not just about talking through problems, but helping clients gain clarity, take accountability where appropriate, and develop healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and relating. While I have experience working with a wide range of concerns, I find that younger clients often benefit from a different style of support. My work is best suited for adults who are ready to engage in deeper, more insight-oriented and results-driven therapy.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that impact their emotions, behaviors, and relationships. With over 10 years of experience, I apply CBT in a practical, results-oriented way, helping clients build awareness, reframe distorted thinking, and develop healthier responses. I integrate CBT with trauma-informed care, especially when working with clients recovering from narcissistic abuse, where patterns like self-blame and over-responsibility are common. Clients leave sessions with tools they can apply immediately, creating real change in their daily lives.
Psychodynamic
I incorporate psychodynamic therapy to help clients connect the dots between their past and present, especially patterns they keep repeating in relationships. Many of my clients know something feels “off,” but don’t fully understand why. This work brings clarity, insight, and real change at the root level.
Attachment-based
I use an attachment-based approach to help clients understand how early relationship experiences shape their emotional needs, patterns, and behaviors in adult relationships. This work is especially helpful for clients struggling with anxiety, trust, and relationship insecurity, allowing them to develop healthier, more secure connections.
