LCSW, 6 years of experience
Hi there! I’m Edith, but please, call me Edie. As an out and proud transgender woman, I am excited to work with the LGBT community through sexuality- and gender-affirming treatment. Are you struggling with your gender and/or sexuality? I would love to walk with you as we collaboratively work to find answers, solutions, and resilience. I help queer, trans, and gender-nonconforming folks travel the path of living your truth! Through conversation guided by CBT, DBT, and emotion-focused therapy, we will peel back the layers of identity to find your wonder, beauty, and strength. I approach each client interaction with unconditional positive regard. I am warm and not judgmental. So bring your whole self. I cannot wait to meet you! I am available for virtual sessions at this time.
During the first session, I will ask many questions to get to know you better and identify areas for us to work together. We will also create a plan for treatment and spend some time with brief introductions.
More than anything, I want to serve my community. Let’s face it: gender and sexuality are hard. I bring a strong clinical perspective along with lived experience to facilitate growth and transformation. I am invested in your success. And I want to cheer you on as your become your best self.
Transgender, LGBTQ, queer, gender-expansive, and those exploring their gender and/or sexuality.
As a trans woman myself, I am deeply familiar with the issues facing those seeking gender affirming care. In session with me, you will always be affirmed for who you really are.

Edith is fantastic and has helped me so much with starting my transition and then helping me navigate my relationships as I come out. I don't know where I would be without her.

In general, I've come to Edie with uncertainty on maintaining progress in my life in all senses of the term. She has been uplifting in helping me trust myself as well as in providing thoughtful ideas on how I can continue to handle the stresses in my life and to celebrate the many wins
