I am an artist, activist, partner, friend, son, brother, and psychotherapist. The latter I do for a living but I am equally passionate about all of my roles in life. I bring who I am into the room. A former filmmaker, director, writer, and performer, I am passionate in my belief in the power of creativity and creative expression as a primary pillar of good mental health, among many other factors. My definition of "creativity" is broad. It can range from writing to singing to cooking to gardening and beyond.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I work together with each client to form a space of safety, acceptance, and trust. My approach is individualized and holistic.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength is providing treatment that is tailored to each individual patient that is most likely to lead to a successful outcome in terms of personal growth, insights, coping skills and resilience. I am not conventional in my approach to supporting my patients in attaining improved mental health.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My practice is based in Los Angeles, where I specialize in working with the diverse LGBTQ+ population of Southern California. I believe therapy is ultimately about storytelling, bearing witness, expression, being seen for who we are, learning to live as our authentic selves, and gaining insights so we can improve our lives and the lives of those we love.
