Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California. I received my Masters degree from CSU Fresno and have been practicing for over 5 years in the public sector in both individual and group therapy settings. I have worked with different populations such as children and teens, adults, the unhoused, veterans and in an impatient substance abuse facility.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

For our first session we will get to know each other and make sure we are a good fit. We will also get into what is bringing you to therapy and create a plan for us to work on for upcoming sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider are that I’m open-minded, genuinely interested in helping others, and have a great listening ear.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with adults who are having a hard time balancing life and all it has to throw at you while asking yourself when will I have a chance to just breathe. My clients have the tools they need we just need to figure them out and practice how to use them.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been practicing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with clients for the past five years. In both individual and group settings, we’ve worked together to identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that frequently influence each other in our daily lives. Eventually, we’ll utilize this information to obtain a better understanding of situations and react more efficiently. Our ultimate objective is to enhance our overall quality of life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I’ve been practicing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in both group and individual settings for the past five years. My goal is to help individuals build meaningful lives that align with their values while also teaching them effective strategies to manage their emotions and relationships. Through collaborative learning, we develop skills to identify and change harmful behaviors, cultivate self-acceptance, and develop coping mechanisms for stress. Ultimately, our objective is to achieve a sense of freedom, joy, and completeness in life.
