Welcome! Glad to see you are taking steps towards growth and self-care. It can be frightening and challenging. However, we will walk your journey's path together until you are ready to go at it on your own. "As you start to walk on the way, the way appears." -Rumi Hello, my name is Dragana Stijepovic, I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the State of California. I am currently completing my doctorate decertation in criminal psychology. I have over 20 years of experience as a clinician. I work with adults who experience depressive mood, anxiety, loneliness, and need for emotional support. I believe the pain and struggle we feel are messages from within and we should pay attention to those messages. Together, we will address concerns and grow from the challenges before us. Counseling is a process of looking at a situation with a new set of eyes that can possibly give a different perspective. Remember, you don't need fixing. You need support. We are never broken, just sometimes bent. You can do this!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Working with me feels like a calm, safe space that is a no judgment zone. I provide coping skills, support, and active listening. Positive thinking with motivational guidance to see the beauty of you is what it looks like working with me.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have worked in mental health and case management for over 20 years. In my practice, I worked with adults struggling to cope with emotional and physical issues. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Symptom Targeted Intervention (STI), and active listening. So many years in this field of work has strengthened my techniques and skills.
