I specialize in helping individuals feel grounded, confident and less overwhelmed. Therapy with me focuses on reducing anxiety and depression, healing trauma patterns, strengthening self-trust, and improving communication, boundaries, and relationships so you can move out of survival mode and into a life that feels steady, aligned. This is a compassionate space for real change.
My path into therapy began with a truth I’ve witnessed repeatedly—people can grow through even the most difficult seasons. Working across diverse mental health settings revealed the resilience individuals carry, even when they feel uncertain or stuck. Those experiences shaped my grounded, practical approach. I believe healing begins when you feel truly seen and supported. In private practice, I help clients work through anxiety, depression, self-doubt, trauma, and relationship challenges. Together, we slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and create changes that feel steady and sustainable. My goal is to help you feel balanced, confident, and deeply connected to yourself and others.
You don’t need the perfect words or a clear plan to begin therapy. Just show up as you are—I’ll meet you there. My style is warm, collaborative, and straightforward. I listen carefully, ask meaningful questions, and offer practical tools to help you understand your patterns and respond with intention. I value authenticity over formality and bring honesty—and at times humor—when it serves the work. Together, we’ll focus on what matters most, creating small, meaningful shifts that build lasting change. You’ll have space to reflect, practice new skills, and feel consistently supported. My hope is that you leave each session feeling clearer, lighter, and equipped with tools you can use immediately.

I believe that compassion and self-love are powerful tools that allow us to overcome life’s challenges and mental health struggles. By fostering a nonjudgmental and understanding environment, we can acknowledge that perfection is not the goal—growth is. Each person is unique, processing experiences in their own way and at their own pace. Through patience, collaboration, and consistency, we can achieve meaningful goals and build resilience together. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my purpose is to help others just as I was once helped. My personal journey—marked by life experiences, challenges, and both right and wrong choices—has guided me toward the most rewarding profession: supporting others in their healing.
It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your healing journey and to help you discover your strength, resilience, and potential for growth.
Hi there, my name is Katie Barton. My belief about the therapeutic relationship is this is one built one mutual trust, understanding and respect. My goals include working together to tell your story and develop creative thought and behavioral based solutions to overcome obstacles and develop more balance.
Everyone has a story but sometimes cannot find an outlet to tell it. Do you feel stuck in your head unable to use your voice? Do you feel like patterns keep presenting and you cannot break free? Sometimes this story has deep and dark moments or complex traumas affecting the course of an individual's life. If you have moments in your story triggering PTSD, anxiety or depression, I would love to assist you through this and help change the areas no longer deserving of so much power in your life. I enjoy helping individuals work past areas in their mind causing them to feel stuck and disempowered. I hope to be able to work with you to feel empowered and brave enough to implement changes in your life.
I believe anyone who is seeking therapy services is acting out of bravery and a willingness to improve one or multiple areas of life. I hope to work with you through this process to help you achieve this goal and manifest the change you are seeking in your life!

Hello Friend! Welcome to my practice, Pragmatic Solutions Therapy, PLLC!
I am an experienced psychotherapist with over 20 years. I've worked in private practice and in the clinical hospital setting and now own my own thriving practice. I have passion, dedication and ethical standards I uphold with every client. My basic mantra in life is simple: Drop the baggage and take the value. Step out of the box and if you can't change the problem, then change the way you see it using a different perspective.
Everyone at one point or another in life may experience a host of unbearable stressors that may leave one feeling stressed or 'out of sorts'. We may even describe the feeling as 'lost in a web of frustration', with feelings such as anxious, fatigue, sadness as if our unique threshold is completely depleted.
Feeling anxious is normal. Feeling stressed is actually a sense of determination to gain back control with temporary tiredness. Anxiousness is innate in all of us. What's not healthy is when stressors cross the threshold to what feels comfortable, interrupts our daily habits/responsibilities to 'fix things' and ourself in solitude.
I’ll help you navigate the web of confusion to find empowerment.
My journey began as a young child whose home was a host of struggles and with the insight into what we all experience. Inspired by a helper, I became a psychotherapist, worked in clinical setting, garnered a vast amount of knowledge which helps me to specialize in various modalities of treatment. As a psychotherapist, I hold a high standard for myself and clients, which includes helping those dealing w/depression, grief, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, chronic health and other issues.
Together, we'll identify what's not working, find solutions you may use to form goals without rescripting your life. Respectfully, Monica Pina

Whether we’re working on managing anxiety, building self-compassion, or navigating complex relationships, I strive to provide the tools and insights that will foster meaningful change and growth.
Life is full of both pain and joy, and I want to help you be present for all of it. While the hard moments can feel overwhelming, they can also lead to transformation. Through a mix of exploration and actionable steps, I’ll guide you toward building a life that feels balanced, intentional, and fulfilling.
And yes, we’ll likely laugh along the way. Therapy doesn’t have to be all serious, all the time. Sometimes a little humor is exactly what’s needed to bring lightness to the process of healing.

My name is Shawna, and I’ve lived in Texas my whole life. I’ve been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) since July 2020, following over three years as an LPC Intern. I’m also a Licensed Social Worker in Texas, with nearly five years of experience working in nursing homes before beginning my master’s program in counseling.
Over the past several years, I’ve worked in community mental health and have served students in special education since November 2020. I also provided teletherapy to teens and adults through BetterHelp for over a year.
I believe that clients are the experts of their own lives, but that we all need guidance at times to overcome challenges and discover new ways to grow. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients can build insight, resilience, and self-compassion through the therapeutic process.

My name is Aleida, welcome to my profile. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes a lot of courage. I want to be the first to commend you for taking this step as I know it is not an easy one. I look forward to getting to know you and forming a strong therapeutic alliance. I am a Bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor (State of TX). I am also a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor-Intern, and a Certified Anger Resolution Therapist. I have 11 years of professional experience in mental health, and 20 years overall in medical and mental health case management, training, and education. I have ample experience in helping clients with depression, stress, anxiety, grief, self-esteem issues, addictions, trauma, abuse, and anger management among many other mental health issues and disorders. I am very empathetic and my top priority is to create an open and safe environment where my clients can share thoughts and feelings without fear of judgement. I consider myself to be very approachable and easy to talk to, and in my professional interaction display cultural awareness, competence and humility with each and every one of my clients. I recognize and acknowledge my clients as unique individuals, with diverse backgrounds, who may not share commonalities with me. I am always open to learn about my clients background, and by no means will appear to be the expert in their life experience. I want to have my clients feel welcomed and supported through their diverse life stressors. I do not take a cookie-cutter approach to therapy, but instead, focus on my client as an individual, and tailor a therapeutic intervention that will best help my client in feeling supported and heard, while working on achieving their therapeutic goals.
