Warm greetings to the Grow Therapy community! My journey in professional counseling began in 2019, leading me to work with diverse populations facing co-occurring disorders. I hold a Master of Science in Licensed Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing. I specialize in supporting clients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, self-esteem issues, personality disorders, substance use, and eating disorders. I also assist with career challenges, parenting issues, and codependency. My approach is holistic and trauma-informed, drawing on therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I focus on empowering clients to better understand and regulate their emotions, reframe negative self-narratives, and develop healthier coping mechanisms. I incorporate mindfulness practices to help clients stay present and grounded, while Narrative Therapy encourages them to reshape their life stories, leading to greater self-awareness and healing. In trauma-informed care, I ensure that clients feel safe, supported, and understood throughout their healing process. My goal is to provide tailored, needs-based care to help clients navigate their challenges with clarity and confidence. I aim to offer a compassionate, understanding space where you can feel empowered to achieve the outcomes you’re seeking. In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with family, our pets, and exploring the outdoors. Writing and photography are my creative outlets, allowing me to express myself and stay connected to the world around me. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting your journey toward growth and healing!
In your first session, we’ll focus on building rapport and understanding your goals. I’ll ask about your history, concerns, and what brought you to therapy. Together, we’ll create a comfortable, non-judgmental space to explore your needs, set objectives, and begin developing a personalized treatment plan.
As a provider, my greatest strengths lie in my ability to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for clients. I blend evidence-based practices like DBT, CBT, Mindfulness, and Narrative Therapy to meet the unique needs of each individual. My trauma-informed approach ensures that clients feel supported while exploring challenging emotions. I’m skilled at helping clients build emotional resilience, improve self-awareness, and reframe negative thoughts. Additionally, I foster strong therapeutic relationships by actively listening, validating clients' experiences, and empowering them to achieve their goals for healing and personal growth.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a cornerstone of my practice, helping clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors. By teaching skills to reframe thoughts and develop coping strategies, CBT empowers clients to overcome issues like anxiety, depression, and stress, promoting healthier thinking and improved emotional well-being.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) has been integral to my practice, especially for clients struggling with emotional dysregulation and interpersonal issues. I use DBT's core skills—mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness—to help clients manage their emotions, improve relationships, and build a balanced, fulfilling life.
In my practice, I integrate mindfulness therapy to help clients develop present-moment awareness and emotional regulation. Through techniques like mindful breathing and body scans, clients learn to observe their thoughts and feelings without judgment. This approach fosters resilience and reduces stress, enhancing overall well-being and self-awareness.
I use Narrative Therapy to help clients reshape their personal stories, empowering them to view themselves as resilient rather than defined by problems. By exploring their life narratives, clients gain perspective, identify strengths, and rewrite limiting beliefs. This approach fosters self-awareness, personal growth, and a sense of empowerment in therapy.
