My name is Charity Midy. I am a graduate of The University of Texas at Arlington where I earned a Master of Social Work Degree. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in the state of Texas . My name is David Mancuso, and at the heart of my work is a belief that every person carries an untold story—one shaped by survival, family dynamics, unspoken pain, and the longing to feel whole. I help clients reconnect with the parts of themselves they’ve had to silence in order to function. My approach blends depth-oriented psychotherapy with a direct, grounded style that invites honesty, clarity, and personal evolution.
I draw from years of clinical practice, trauma-informed training, attachment theory, and my own lived experiences navigating complex family systems. Because of that background, I understand what it means to rebuild a self from the inside out. Clients often come to me during moments of transition, emotional exhaustion, identity confusion, or relational upheaval. They stay because our work helps them find their center again.
While I bring a calm and steady presence, I also show up with real engagement. I don’t sit back passively—I’m interactive, reflective, and attuned to the subtle patterns that shape how you think, feel, and relate. Therapy with me is an active process of reconnecting with your original self, strengthening your internal structure, and learning to move through the world with more confidence, emotional clarity, and integrity.
Above all, I care deeply about the people I work with. My intention is to offer a space where you feel understood, supported, and challenged in meaningful ways—so you can step into a more grounded, connected, and empowered version of yourself.

Hello, and welcome. My name is Lakitha Thomas, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of Nu Found Peace Counseling and Wellness, PLLC. I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate life’s challenges in a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment. I’m a business owner, a single mom, and a foster and adoptive parent. I understand what it’s like to juggle multiple roles, carry constant responsibility, and still want to show up well for the people who matter most. One thing I say often is “work on yourself first.” It’s one of the few things we actually have control over even when we feel as though we don't, and it’s also the thing we tend to put off. We’re busy, we’re juggling everything, and before we know it, we’re stuck in patterns that feel frustrating and hard to break. No judgment here. I get it.
I’ve been working with individuals and families as a therapist since 2018, with a background in healthcare prior to that, and I’ve spent my career serving the Fort Worth community I grew up in. I take a solution-focused, strengths-based approach, which means we’ll focus on what’s already working, build on your strengths, and create practical steps that actually move things forward.

I believe that counseling should be a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, stress, self-esteem, motivation, relationships, life transitions, academic pressures, career decisions, or simply feeling stuck, I am here to help. Together, we will identify your strengths, explore areas for growth, and create meaningful goals that align with the life you want to live.
My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. I utilize Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness-based approaches to help clients develop practical skills, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, increase self-awareness, and build confidence. I believe that every person already possesses strengths and abilities that can be leveraged to create positive change.
I have extensive experience helping children and teens navigate social, emotional, and academic challenges while also supporting college students and adults through important life transitions, career development, relationship concerns, and personal growth. No matter your age or stage of life, my goal is to help you discover the tools, resilience, and confidence needed to thrive.
Seeking support is a courageous first step, and you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you work toward healing, growth, and becoming the best version of yourself.
I look forward to joining you on your journey.
"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just the way I am, then I can change"- Carl Rodgers

My practice is a holistic sanctuary designed for individuals at a crossroads—specifically women navigating the complexities of divorce and young adults facing life’s 'big' transitions.
I believe that healing isn't just about 'fixing' a problem; it’s about honoring your whole self—mind, body, and spirit. My background is deep and diverse: I have years of experience walking alongside clients through intense challenges like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and autism, as well as those struggling with emotional disturbances, low self-esteem, or anger. Because of this, I offer a grounded, non-judgmental space where no emotion is 'too much' and no situation is too complex.
I tailor my counseling for ages 8 to 55, using a blend of CBT, Solution-Focused, and Reality Therapy. We won’t just talk about the past; we will honor your entire experience to build a practical, empowering plan for your future. Whether you are seeking clarity in a transition or stability in a crisis, I am here to help you find your way back to balance.
