About me

HI. I am a caring and supportive therapist with many years of experience. I’ve spent years working with trauma clients who suffered from abuse - emotional, physical, spiritual, and sexual and also neglect, I’ve worked with PTSD survivors, people suffering with depression or anxiety, and people just wanting to be the best versions of themselves. I’ve been with clients as they passed; everyone has their own needs. You are important and I will support you and do be best to walk with you on your journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

You are in charge of sessions and you decide what we talk about. I’ll probably ask questions to better understand, but that doesn’t mean you have to answer, How we progress is completely up to you. Some people have goals for sessions and some don’t; it’s fine either way. I’m here for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am always going to be honest with you and there may be times I push back a little in hopes we see the same thing. I may sit back and ask questions or sit in silence as you share your pain. Every session is different and I don’t have a scrip I follow.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’ve worked with children as young as 7 months and others as old as 104. I’ve also been a play therapist for about the past 35 years, before I knew play therapy was really a thing. I also am comfortable working with cognitive behavioral goals, solution focused clients and trauma survivors. Therapy works because of the relationship between client and therapist; not what i know but that I care and understand.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Maybe you’ve heard of Cognitive Behavioral therapy but don’t know much about it. Albert Ellis developed this therapy and it can be very powerful. It’s primarily about not allowing our insecurities or fears stop us from living. I’m more than happy to explain it more to you,
