I meet you where you are and will support you every step of the way, guiding you towards healthier emotional well-being and resilience.
Hi! I'm a dually Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) working in the Raleigh NC area. I received my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) from the North Carolina State University and have been practicing for 7 years. I love what I do, I left a successful career when I was in my mid 40's to go to college so I could become a social worker. I became a LCSW because I lost a partner when I was in my early 30's and a LCSW helped me navigate a new beginning and changed my life forever.
I have worked in the human service field for approximately 20 years. I have had the pleasure of working with mental health, developmentally disabled and substance abuse populations. I have worked with Assisted Medication Management and active military members and their families. My greatest reward as a therapist is helping my clients explore ways to make the changes in their lives that will allow them to look forward to the future with hope. I believe that we all need someone to talk with who will really listen and accept us as we are, without judgment. I provide my clients with that warm, nonjudgmental environment—a safe place to explore the issues that may be preventing them from living the life they want.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Substance Abuse Supervisor. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Therapy and psycho-education extensively. My experience includes working with clients dealing with divorce and single-parenting, addictions, grief, women’s issues, and mood disorders, among other challenges. I find that my great passion is working with individuals and children.
Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stressed? Maybe you’re facing relationship struggles, navigating workplace pressures, or dealing with grief or addiction? Whatever your personal challenge may be, I’m here to help.
Hello, My name is Sabrina. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, committed to helping individuals like you find relief, understanding, and hope. Whether you’re struggling with everyday pressures or more complex emotional challenges, I’m here to offer guidance and support on your journey to improved mental health.
Welcome! I’m Christien Harden. Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m here to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can work through life’s challenges at your own pace. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, or identity-related concerns, my goal is to help you find clarity, healing, and balance in a way that feels right for you.
Welcome! I am a warm, non-judgemental and real person. One of my basic tenants is we, as people, are doing the best we can, and sometimes our conscious or subconscious "plan" to take care of ourselves is just not working anymore. Sometimes we need to develop a new “plan” but that can be difficult and we need help. The relationship with ourselves, family, friends and our community is a pillar to good health and well being. However things get in the way….like trauma, substance use, addiction, depression, anxiety, loneliness, illness, & fear. I want to support your concerns and help you improve your sense of wellbeing.

I'm a doctoral-level CBT practitioner who specializes in men's issues, though I have experience treating a large breadth of mental health concerns with diverse clientele. My style is laid back and I prioritize strong therapeutic relationships with all of my clients to serve as springboards for the changes they are hoping to make. A primary goal is to help minimize power dynamics to foster an environment in which clients feel comfortable taking risks and sharing freely. Additionally, I actively emphasize and leverage clients' innate strengths as vehicles through which to reach treatment goals.
I provide individual and family therapy using a person-centered, collaborative approach that meets you where you are—without judgment and without pressure to be “fixed.” Therapy is a partnership, and I work alongside clients to support meaningful, sustainable change.
My approach focuses on helping clients identify their strengths, increase self-awareness, recognize supports, and take accountability in ways that promote growth rather than shame. I use an eclectic, evidence-based framework, drawing from Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Counseling. Interventions are tailored to each client’s needs, goals, and lived experience.
My work is grounded in these core beliefs:
• People are doing the best they can with the skills they have.
• People are capable of change.
• People do get better.
• A strong therapeutic relationship creates safety, healing, and growth.
To maximize the benefits of therapy, I may offer practical between-session exercises to help clients apply skills in daily life. These are always collaborative and adjusted as needed.
I am a Christian counselor, and my faith informs my values of compassion, dignity, and respect. I work with clients of all backgrounds, beliefs, and identities, and faith is incorporated into therapy only if the client requests it.
In addition to my professional role, I am a wife, lifelong learner, and mother of an autistic son, which deeply informs my empathy, patience, and understanding of caregiving, advocacy, and navigating complex systems.
I know how overwhelming it can be to struggle with anxiety, depression, and burnout—especially when past help hasn’t felt like the right fit. My approach is eclectic and person-centered, meaning I tailor therapy to your unique needs. I integrate Narrative Therapy, Bibliotherapy, IFS, DBT, TF-CBT, and Motivational Interviewing, with Christian integration available upon request. I’ve worked in mental health since 2007 and earned my degree from Liberty University in 2022. I understand the complexities of deep emotions, neurodiversity, and personal growth, and I create a space where you feel truly seen and heard. If you’re looking for a therapist who values your individuality and meets you where you are, I’d be honored to support you.
I’m Crystal DePietro, an LCSW who believes that everyone has the ability to grow and thrive with the right support. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused techniques to help clients build coping skills, increase self-awareness, and improve emotional well-being. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where lasting change can happen.

"Osiyo" (Hello in Cherokee)! My name is Tishina Carroll. I have been involved in the behavioral health field for over 15 years. A common question I get asked is “Why did you choose to become a therapist”? The answer is easy: I profoundly enjoy helping others to find ways to manage life’s challenges, while also supporting them in developing into the best versions of themselves.
I too have struggled with mental health challenges, and I understand the stigma that comes with admitting that you need help. I want my clients to understand that they are not alone in their struggles. I am a licensed clinical social worker, a licensed clinical addictions specialist and a certified clinical supervisor. My areas of expertise include Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar Disorders, Depression, PTSD/ Trauma, Women’s Health, Grief/ Loss and Addiction. I am skilled in Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I understand that meeting a therapist for the first time can be intimidating, scary and maybe even embarrassing. I completely understand! The first few sessions, I like to build rapport. I want to get to know you as a person while also giving you the same space to get to know me as a therapist. Building rapport can help develop that crucial sense of trust.
Hello, I'm a MSW, LCSW, LCAS-A in the great state of North Carolina with 6 years of professional work experience working as a Psychotherapist on an assertive community treatment team. I have experience in helping clients with anxiety, depression, anger management, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, and developing self-care and coping skills. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. During the initial intake it is important to build a therapeutic relationship while obtaining a clear understanding regarding the expectations of the person being served. Once the intake has been completed it is important to develop a personal center plan in-order to work toward accomplishing short-term and long-term goals tailored to meet the unique and specific needs of the individual being served. Over the past 6 years I have been using evidenced based interventions CBT, ACT, and Psych Rehab to assist the people I serve with reducing the severity of their ongoing symptoms and problems. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I look forward to working with anyone who is looking to take that first step.

My experience is wide ranging from children to adults, in a variety of settings from community based services to hospitals to individual private therapy. I view therapy as a collaborative process and I want folks to get out of therapy what they came for. I ask for feedback regularly and use that feedback to tailor my approach to what you need.
If you are looking for support on your journey of self-discovery or dealing with some stressors, I would love to help! I enjoy working with individuals who may be struggling and need an empathetic ear. I believe everyone can improve their sense of well-being with some support. Some things I enjoy include spending time with my friends and family, visiting the beach and mountains, and doing arts and crafts.

I believe that we all need help from time to time and someone to help us see clearly when we have difficulty seeing things clearly ourselves. My best practice of therapy is being eclectic, which means in simple terms that I use whatever technique I need to to reach my client wherever they are at. This includes all best practices that are evidence-based to work with women, young adults, men and children who all have a common need to feel heard and supported. Hello! My name is Clover and I am a licensed clinical therapist and addiction specialist in the state of North Carolina. I look forward to the opportunity of learning and working together as part of our therapeutic process. I enjoy working with folks who are gender diverse and members of the LGBTQIA+ community who experience unique stressors and conflicts with their day-to-day lives. I also love working with folks who struggle with substance use either in addition to other life stressors or on its own especially in the context of substance use disorders being highly stigmatized. I focus on substance use treatment approaches with a functionality mindset to work on setting reasonable goals and expectations during the clinical process. I started my clinical work with addiction and grew as a therapist and person to see people from a whole-person perspective. Our difficulties, conflicts, our stressors do not define us for who we are and when they prevent or delay us from becoming our authentic selves is where the therapeutic process blossoms.
I believe everybody is always in a constant process of growing into our best selves and I hope to have the opportunity to work with you along this process too.

Hi, I’m Joe. I’ve worked in the mental health field for 26 years across substance use treatment, outpatient care, and hospital settings. I’ve supported individuals and families through crisis, transition, and long-term growth.
I work well with teens, young adults, adults, and families who are navigating stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, or major life changes. I also have extensive experience working with men who may struggle to express emotions directly and instead feel stuck in withdrawal, irritability, or self-doubt.

Craig Steckowski is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based out of California and serves clients in both California and Virginia. He served in the Marine Corps prior to attending Alliant University in Irvine, CA for his therapy Master’s degree. After school, Craig then went on to work in Orange County. He was an advocate with the court system for mental health treatment and rehabilitation from chemical dependency. He also spent some time working for an agency that provided support to the homeless population and later, in a community clinic in New Hampshire where he helped to create services that met the needs of the community.
Each of these experiences helped to shape Craig’s philosophy toward therapy, which is that therapy should be a non-judgemental, welcoming space for his clients to be their unfiltered, authentic selves. “I just truly want therapy to be a place that you look forward to and value,” he wants clients to know. “It’s your space, and nothing you say, do, or experience is going to change my perception of you.”
His main goal as a therapist is to connect with his clients and offer them a place of solid, consistent, and positive support that they can depend on. He prioritizes maintaining a low enough caseload that clients can maintain a regular therapy schedule with him. He also encourages his clients to reach out between sessions if need be. “If you need me to be your hype man and help you through something, I’ll be there.”
In his free time, Craig focuses on doing things that help rejuvenate him which includes spending time outside and quality time with his wife. He also regularly seeks professional support from a trusted mentor in the field to ensure he is practicing mindfully and ethically.
For more than twenty‐five years, I’ve helped adults navigate mid‐life challenges—whether related to depression, anxiety, relationship stress and breakups, or the natural shifts that come with aging. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, I will help you create meaningful, lasting change. In our work, we may focus on strengthening distress tolerance, improving emotional regulation, enhancing interpersonal effectiveness, and reconnecting with what matters most to you. You’ll leave sessions with insight, direction, and strategies you can use right away—not just talk.
I'm solution‑focused, goal‑oriented, compassionate, and client‑centered. I work collaboratively to identify practical steps forward so we don’t stay stuck in the problem itself. Together, we’ll clarify what’s getting in the way and build tools that help you feel more grounded, capable and aligned with your values.
By focusing on the skills of distress tolerance, emotional regulation, mindfulness and interpersonal effectiveness, we can begin to feel more in control of our day to day responses to stressors. I provide sessions geared towards formulating, motivating, achieving, and sustaining desired behavioral change. It helps you get "unstuck" and back in control! One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is seeing clients set meaningful, value-driven goals and achieving them. That's why I partner with you to ensure you are empowered to reach your full potential. As you work through life's transitions, I will be there to guide, encourage, and challenge you to push past obstacles and create the life you want.

I have several years of experience treating individuals, families, and adolescents using a holistic, empathic, and trauma-informed approach. Watching friends and family struggle with mental health and substance abuse issues fueled my passion for helping those who struggle with these difficulties from a place of understanding, patience, and empathy. I received a BA in psychology first, which led to obtaining a substance abuse certificate. I gained experience working with families and individuals and, after some time, I was ready to further my education and obtained a Master of Social Work. This helped me expand my clinical skills and learn more targeted therapy modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, psychoanalytical care, and art therapy. I found these approaches are a great synthesis of neuroscience, trauma, and creativity.

As a former firefighter and Emergency Room clinician, I understand many of the unique experiences of both first responders and Veterans. A lifelong martial artist including some boxing experience, I enjoy weightlifting and spending time with my family.
It is my belief that every human being has dignity and worth no matter what you have gone through or experienced. I aim to provide a warm, safe, and accepting environment that is non-judgmental by which you can process and work through issues that are problematic. I work to form a therapeutic relationship with clients that is collaborative, promotes insight, and helps to foster change and wellness.
I have experience treating anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, grief and loss, anger management, and ADHD. My clinical approach is integrative, drawing from both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). However, I will implement other approaches according to the needs of my clients. My passion is to help each individual achieve their desired goals and reach their full potential. With support, encouragement, and unconditional acceptance, change is possible and life can become better. The journey towards change begins with the first step.
I have been in practice for over 24 years. I work with clients from very diversified backgrounds, helping clients to identify their issues, helping them to determine what is leading to these issues, and determining the best steps to address such issues. We will take a look at how your past is potentially affecting your current day and further attempt to work through any issues from your past that are stopping you from getting to where you want to be in life. I provide a nurturing, supportive and motivating environment.
