About

Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Connecticut and North Carolina. I received my Masters degree from the University of Pittsburgh and have been practicing for 9 years. I have worked in schools, hospitals and private practice.

I support adults to navigate a variety of life stresses and manage mental health that allows them achieve life goals and happiness in multiple aspects of life.

First session

In our first session together, we'll start with background information and circumstances that led to starting therapy. I would like to hear about your history with therapy and what went well or did not work for you. I am also open to answering any additional question about myself or the therapeutic process. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Strengths

I specialize in working with men who may be skeptical of therapy but are ready for things to change. In our work, we’ll focus on what actually matters to you—clearer communication, handling stress, improving relationships, showing up consistently for your family, and gaining control over patterns that have started to feel unmanageable. My approach is direct, collaborative, and grounded in real-life strategies that help you show up better—for yourself and the people who count on you. No judgment, no psychobabble—just a space to think clearly, get unstuck, and move forward.

Ideal clients

Are you the guy who’s always holding it together on the outside—even when it’s chaos underneath? Maybe you’ve thought about therapy before but figured it wasn’t for you. You're not interested in sitting around just talking about your feelings. You want something real, practical, and tailored to your life. Whether you're navigating relationship stress, fatherhood, career burnout, or you're noticing your drinking or health habits starting to slide, you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

Treatment methods

Geoff is funny and friendly and open. I have never had a male therapist before (as a woman) and I was hesitant, but he is great. I recommend him highly.
