A North Carolina native, Keisha Samara Horton learned from her own experiences that change is hard, but necessary. She worked hard to overcome many obstacles and felt called to help others do the same.
I have worked with youth and families for over 15 years, so I understand the challenges of today's youth.
Keisha Samara guides clients to reach their full potential by encouraging and empowering them to pull from their own strengths, spirituality, and experiences. She is a natural people person and able to empathize with people from all walks of life.
First session
We will build rapport to establish a strong therapuetic relatonship. We will discuss your childhood in depth to create a psychosocial history.

My greatest strenghths are the ability to meet clients were they are with positive regard. I have worked with youth and families for over 15 years, so I understand the challenges of today's youth. I am able to stay unbiased and help you reach the full potential of your life. I want you to live the life that you love!
Ideal clients
She specializes in working with young adults between 15 - 25 years old, women in life transitions, young adults with adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), families, and couples. Her expertise in school counseling, mental health counseling, and substance abuse counseling, allows her to work with the whole client. She believes in using the clients personal strengths to guide them to living a life that they love. Her goal is to build rapport, provide support, and guide clients to mental wellness.
