I have several years of experience treating individuals, families, and adolescents using a holistic, empathic, and trauma-informed approach. Watching friends and family struggle with mental health and substance abuse issues fueled my passion for helping those who struggle with these difficulties from a place of understanding, patience, and empathy. I received a BA in psychology first, which led to obtaining a substance abuse certificate. I gained experience working with families and individuals and, after some time, I was ready to further my education and obtained a Master of Social Work. This helped me expand my clinical skills and learn more targeted therapy modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, psychoanalytical care, and art therapy. I found these approaches are a great synthesis of neuroscience, trauma, and creativity.

Hello! My name is Amaris, and I’m glad you’re here :)
Do you ever feel like you’re carrying more than your share — emotionally, mentally, or relationally? Do you find yourself doubting your needs, overthinking decisions, or feeling responsible for everyone else’s wellbeing? Many women move through the world with expectations and pressures that shape how they show up. My work focuses on helping women understand the “why” behind their emotions and behaviors so they can move through life with more clarity, confidence, and self‑trust.
Sometimes personal growth means recognizing that you’re either going to deal with your stuff, or your stuff is going to deal with you. Therapy is a powerful place to begin that process.
Life can be complicated, let's sort through it together!
Hi! I'm Emily, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker working with clients in both Illinois and Ohio. I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up exactly as you are, without fear of judgment. In our work together, we'll celebrate your successes just as much as we'll work through your struggles, and I'll help you challenge unhelpful thought patterns while honoring the experiences that brought you here. We might even share a laugh along the way!

My specializations include working with those who have experienced life-altering anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, substance use, and chronic stress.

I'm gentle, empathic and meet my clients where they are at.
Building upon past coping mechanisms will enable you to develop and find more effective ways of managing life stressors. Look, I get that everyone has some level of depression and anxiety. It's important for therapists to be, first and foremost, real human beings in relation to clients. I know how to be a therapist. You know how to be you. I try to bring understanding and, when appropriate, humor into my work with people. Therapy is where you can try on different parts of yourself in a non-judgemental environment. What happens in session can reflect what you experience in your everday life. This provides you with perspective to live a more fufilling life. I work remotely, but find that this is not a barrier to real connection.
I am a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals seeking to enhance their mental well-being and alleviate symptoms of distress. Holding a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and bringing years of experience in the medical field (EMS), I have gained a deep understanding of the complex challenges individuals encounter in both their professional and personal lives.

Hi! My name is Gilmarie, but you can feel free to call me Gigi. I am a licensed, clinical social worker providing individual therapy and couples counseling for clients in Illinois as well as Florida. I am bilingual in Spanish and English and am of Puerto Rican descent.
As a social worker/therapist, I love working with people and I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. It is an honor to walk through life with my clients. Also, I enjoy providing faith-based counseling for those who desire to incorporate their faith in their therapeutic journey.
You deserve an opportunity to feel supported by having your thoughts and feelings be acknowledged. Throughout the course of life, we may experience mental health challenges that arise unexpectedly. Allow yourself to heal from those challenges and grow towards the future with the support that therapy provides.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am invested in my clients whole self by guiding them into controlling their narrative and becoming their own author. I obtained my MSW at Governors State University in 2019 with a specialization in children and families.
One of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. There is so much value, understanding, and growth in developing a healthy relationship with yourself. If you think about it, the longest and most important relationship we will ever have is the one we have with ourselves. I am here to help you begin or continue that journey.
I am the type of therapist you want to reach out to if you are struggling with perfectionism or low self-esteem, situations that make you feel anxious, depressed, and easily overwhelmed, or that feeling of being completely burned out and in need of self-care. Whether you are looking to enhance and strengthen your skillset or looking for a listening ear to unwind and receive support, I am here to help you. Together, we will explore, identify, and discover what works and what does not. We will figure out the best way to get you the quality of life you want and need. Whether you are ready to take action or contemplating where to start, feel free to reach out so we can connect and see if I would be a good match for what you are looking for.
Hi, my name is Stephanie!
Life is cookie-cutter and I don't believe therapy should be either. If you are struggling through any form of loss, weather loss of a loved one, identity, or pet loss you don’t have to do it alone. Anxiety, ranging moods, interpersonal issues, or anything you're feeling ready to explore I incorporate traditional and non-traditional approaches to meet your needs. Many find sitting on a couch very grounding and comforting while many others would rather take advantage of an open space to move around. Vulnerability takes courage, which is something we can discover and process together.
My background is in dance/movement therapy and animal-assisted therapy.

Hi there! I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Illinois with over 8 years experience providing therapeutic services to diverse populations of individuals, groups, and families. I have worked with clients with a wide variety of presenting concerns including depression, stress and anxiety, ADHD, family conflicts, relationship issues, anger management, and self-esteem. Whether you've never tried therapy before or are considering getting back into it, give yourself a pat on the back for taking this first step! I know how hard it can be to prioritize your own mental health, especially when life gets hectic. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I believe in meeting my clients where they're at and providing them a space each week where they can feel heard, understood, and cared for. I believe therapy shouldn't feel like another chore on your to-do list. It should feel like the "me time" you need (and deserve!) to set down the weight of everything you've been carrying so that you can start feeling like yourself again. Whether you're in the middle of a difficult time or grappling with a past that is holding you back, I will be there with you every step of the way to help get you "unstuck" and back to the life you want to be living.
Hello! I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) based in Illinois. I have worked in the mental health field for seventeen years in both hospital and outpatient settings. This experience includes work in direct patient care, program development, and in hospital administration in a clinical director role.
I also have taught coursework in psychology and human development in a university setting, and worked in an administrative capacity in secondary education in the state of Illinois. My educational background includes a Masters in Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. My clinical approach brings behavioral intervention and education together in a clinical setting. I enjoy using psychoeducation as a foundation for treatment. That means I like to focus on educating the patient on their symptoms/diagnosis so we can collaborate on a treatment plan that they understand and makes sense for their life circumstance. If people understand why they experience the symptoms they have and how their body responds to stressors; it can give them the insight necessary to build skills to cope in a healthy and effective way.
Hey there!! I'm Sara.
Sometimes we just need someone to listen. We're all human, we all struggle, and despite what many think... that's what normal looks like. With me, you'll be in a safe, non-judgmental place to share whatever you feel led. I am very laid back and work at the pace you feel comfortable. I will strive to help you find the things inside of you that will help you overcome past struggles and allow you to grow. I believe that it's not my place to advise you on what you should do, but encourage you to make the changes that best fit your season of life.
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois. I received my Masters in Counseling from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Starting counseling can feel like a big step, especially if you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of where to turn. You may be carrying stress, anxiety, sadness, or uncertainty about the future—and wondering how to make sense of it all. My role is to offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can pause, reflect, and begin to feel more grounded.
Counseling isn’t about having all the answers right away—it’s about creating room for growth, clarity, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
I am a compassionate, thoughtful, and grounded provider who values creating a safe, supportive space where clients can feel seen, heard, and empowered. My approach is rooted in meeting people where they are while helping them move toward meaningful growth and healing at a pace that feels right for them. I believe every person has a unique path, and my role is to help illuminate possibilities, build on strengths, and support lasting change.
In addition to my work as a therapist, I also bring experience as a veterinary social worker, which has deepened my understanding of the emotional challenges that can come with caregiving, grief, loss, and life transitions. This background allows me to offer added compassion and support, especially for clients navigating the unique bond between humans and animals or the stress that can come with caring for a beloved pet.
With a warm and collaborative style, I strive to make therapy feel approachable, respectful, and genuinely connected to each client’s needs. I bring curiosity, care, and intention to my work, and I value helping clients navigate challenges while also reconnecting with their sense of self, purpose, and direction. My practice, Infinite Pathways, reflects my belief that there is more than one way forward, and that healing often begins when people feel supported in discovering what works best for them.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois and a Licensed Professional Counselor Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) in Tennessee. I am an Army Veteran and I specialize in trauma and grief. I have experience treating many other mental health issues including: bipolar disorder, OCD, depression (postpartum and clinical), anxiety, personality disorders, chronic illness, domestic violence and life transitions.
As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), my mission is to guide individuals on a journey back to their innate wisdom, compassion, peace, and confidence. I often think of the story of Michelangelo, who described sculpting as the act of chipping away marble to reveal the beauty already within. This metaphor beautifully captures the counseling process: together, we identify and remove the barriers obscuring your true SELF, allowing your inner brilliance to shine through.
My approach is rooted in deep compassion for the human experience. I bring to our work a blend of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices, enriched by certifications in Mind-Body Bridging, Cognitively-Based Compassion Training, and Cultivating Emotional Balance. I draw from powerful therapeutic frameworks, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindful Self-Compassion, and Compassionate Inquiry, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs.
My name is Sabrina Turner. I trained at Bradley University and have 12 years of clinical experience. I focus on issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, PTSD, and ADHD. Throughout my career I have worked with clients of all ages. I primarily use person centered techniques, but I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness depending on the client. In addition, integrative approaches are helpful to most people, which means we look at your overall nutritional and physical well being in conjunction with your mental health.
Asking for help is never easy, but connection and relationships help us lead our best lives.
My goal is to help you build healthier coping skills for yourself. What that looks like is different for everyone, but I want to help you find your own unique path.
During our first session I will ask you to share some background information with me. It can be difficult to share, so please know that my number one goal is to give you a safe, nonjudgemental space to open up. In subsequent sessions we will dive deeper into your reasons for seeking therapy. We will explore techniques that are already working for you and add in new skills along the way. If you are looking for a clinician to walk alongside you while you discover yourself and how to be your best version, we will likely be a good fit!
