Hello. Thanks for stopping by. Do you ever feel like life is one hurdle after another? I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as will an an addictions therapist. Let's work together to break down barriers. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression alcohol abuse or other life struggles, I provide a person-centered approach that emphasizes strengths and understanding of how symptoms developed so that they can be reduced or eliminated. At times I introduce art therapy exercises to help clients express themselves.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session I will primarily be getting to know you and what you would like to work on. I will ask some background questions as well as assess what is happening right now that led you to begin therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe my greatest strength is helping clients feel comfortable opening up in sessions. I ensure clients that they can share difficult experiences and feelings at their own pace.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I especially enjoy working with clients that are evolving from teenage to young adulthood. This population often needs assistance in coping and I have been successful in helping clients improve their confidence and find their way socially and emotionally.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In working with clients, I strive to provide focused, empathic listening to clients concerns. I work collaboratively to alleviate emotional pain and overcome obstacles in their life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

When using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) I work with clients to identify and replace distorted thoughts that may limit their everyday life.

Psychodynamic

With clients who need or desire longer term therapy, I assist clients in recognizing how their past experiences influence current behavior and values.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

When warranted, I use Mindfulness with clients to guide them in staying in the present moment so as to ease chronic or acute anxiety, worries and stress.
