Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and I have been practicing in the mental health field with adolescents and adults for the past 12 years. In working with a client, I focus on creating an environment in which you will feel at ease and respected. I have an ability to quickly establish rapport which helps you to actively work with me towards your identified goals. My client-centered approach allows you to openly share issues you feel are causing distress and explore ways in which you would like to make changes.

In our first session together, we will explore relevant historical information and then dive deeper into presenting concerns. This will help me to create a plan specific to your needs and identify what you're hoping to get out of therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

When working with clients, I offer individualized and creative care. I start with understanding where you are now and the challenges you are facing. Together we will identify a plan to put in place to help you move forward, while celebrating all of your success, no matter the size, along the way. I focus on creating a safe and inclusive environment in which you feel respected and comfortable being vulnerable, so you feel like you’re being heard and can get the help you need.

It is my mission to help people find hope and the answers they are searching for to live better lives. I enjoy assisting adults, especially young adults experiencing life transitions, with managing distress, establishing healthy boundaries, and exploring future planning and goal setting.

My favorite treatment style is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) because it can help change our perspectives and improve overall mood. CBT focuses on the relationship between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and how making a positive change to one of these can benefit the others. It's a very empowering concept that helps you to take control of the things you can control in your life!
