Hi, my name is Stephanie!
Life is not something we experience in a cookie-cutter manner. If you are struggling through any form of loss, weather loss of a loved one, identity, or pet loss you don’t have to do it alone. Sitting with grief takes vulnerability, which is something we can discover and process together.
Discovering your sense of self and identity, particularly during a transitional time in your life can trigger untapped emotions. This may include discovering layers of your self. Together, we can create a safe space to explore aspects of who you are.
My background is in dance/movement therapy and I am open to incorporating creativity into sessions. I use a body-focused lens in my practice, which can lead to a more intimate connection with the self.

There are countless methods for healing & moving forward. I provide a judgement free place to find your way & figure it out. Commitment to my clients begins with a belief in the ability of individuals to advocate for themselves & choose their own path. You decide how you want to live your life.
Our instincts, emotions & feelings are a gift; they are the natural barometer for navigating our lives. Often we misinterpret or fear those emotions & fall into a holding pattern as to how to move forward. We all get stuck. Let me help you move forward.
The best work is done when we are honest and open about who we are, and where we want to be. Counseling is guided through your ideals & values. This is your time.
My experience is rooted in the mind + body connect. Scientific research continues to prove more about the brain and body connection than we have ever known, Come along and let me teach you. Working through & assimilating the somatic experience of life, freeing ourselves from trauma & bumps in the road.
I hold a Clinical Psychologist license to practice in Illinois. I completed my doctorate studies at Adler University. My professional experience in treatment spans over 25 years. I believe a person holds the ability to transform their life for the better. I find satisfaction in helping them advance on their path. The following examples show my methods for treating anxiety and depression.
The evidence-based treatment method I use for anxiety focuses on individualized symptom-specific approaches that match the client’s needs and personal preferences. The combination of repetitive and irrational thoughts about perceived danger, uncertainty or failure creates distressing mental states which may manifest as negative thought, such as: "I am not good enough" or "something bad will happen" or "I will be fired if I make a mistake."
I assist my clients to detect and fight their negative beliefs and thoughts. I guide clients to manage their anxiety symptoms with mindfulness breathing techniques and progressive muscle relaxation methods. With assigned homework including mindfulness exercises, I guide the client to maintain their progress and self-regulation between sessions.
My depression treatment approach matches each client's symptoms, their life history, and their social environment. Depression exists on a spectrum from temporary sadness to persistent and severe Major Depressive Disorder. The maintenance of depression relies on negative thoughts such as “I am worthless” or “Nothing will ever get better.” Our focus will be to identify and modify.
Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients view their depressive thoughts in a non-judgmental manner to reduce their rumination and emotional distress. By teaching problem solving skills and the practice of mindfulness helps the individual become more aware of their physical tension. Assigning homework guides the individual to improve sleep hygiene, self-care, and build effective coping strategies.
My name is Wendy Ortiz. I am bilingual in both English and Spanish. As a Relational and EMDR Therapist with over eight years of experience, I enjoy helping folks by providing a safe and non judgmental space. My objective in the therapy space is to promote healing, self-exploration, clarity and empowerment. Whatever you may be going through right now, I care and look forward to offering support throughout the therapeutic process.
I am a licensed mental health and addiction counselor with a background in the psychobiology of addiction and a strong focus on helping individuals create meaningful, lasting change. My work blends evidence-based therapy with a trauma-informed, nervous-system-aware approach, recognizing that healing often involves more than insight alone.
I am Level 1 Trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and use parts-based work to help clients understand internal patterns with curiosity and compassion rather than self-judgment. I am also a Certified Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) and Rest & Restore Protocol provider through Unyte Listening Therapies, offering listening-based interventions that support nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, and a greater sense of safety and connection—particularly for individuals impacted by trauma, anxiety, or chronic stress.
My therapeutic style is collaborative, supportive, and individualized. I work primarily with adults navigating addiction, emotional regulation challenges, relational difficulties, and life transitions. Together, we focus on increasing self-awareness, strengthening internal resources, and building skills that support sustainable change both inside and outside of therapy.

And I want to hear what stories keep you inspired and motivated. I want to know what you enjoy and feel passionate about. Our primary focus will be on what has brought you to therapy and what you want to work on but I know that there are many paths to these goals. As Tolkien said, “Not all who wander are lost.” So, we might wander a bit but we will wander together.
At some point, during our virtual session, you will probably see one or both of my cats and your pets are welcome as well. Trans/queer friendly and welcoming.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Chicago, IL. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is witnessing the transformation in my clients' self-concept. This shift in perspective is crucial, especially for those who have been weighed down by feelings of inadequacy or failure. It’s incredible to see how this newfound self-belief translates into resilience, allowing them to bounce back from setbacks and adapt to challenges with greater ease.
Do you struggle with people-pleasing, low self-worth, or painful relationships that leave you feeling like you’ve lost yourself? Maybe you grew up in a family that looked “fine” on the outside but left you with invisible scars of trauma. If you’re exhausted from trying to hold it all together while doubting yourself inside, therapy can help you finally break free.

Hello, my name Patrick and I served in three combat tours: serving our country for nine years as a United States Marine. I decided to serve those that are mentally ill in 2013 after my tour of service. After 5 years of study and schooling I got my start in 2017 in a dual-disorder treatment center conducting Intensive inpatient/outpatient groups and utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy as an approach to treating mental health disorders.
Today, I specialize in taking an eclectic approach to using interventions looking at the holistic approaches to the human dynamic. This means looking at a person’s relationships and/or lack, cognitive schemas, their behaviors and habits, their priorities, and then determining how interventions and treatment plans will be formulated. I look at a person’s self-concept and determine holistically how their behaviors, thoughts, and patterns are contributing to their problems and functioning. The skills and tools of a therapist are the personal characteristics they bring into therapy: empathy, active listening these aren’t just attributes that look good on paper but are verbal and non-verbal forms of communication; and its these skills I believe what enables successful outcomes in therapy.

Hello, I’m Suzette, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, life changes, and women’s issues. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, deal with pressure, and are trying to manage relationships and daily responsibilities. I also work with athletes and high-performing individuals who are dealing with confidence, pressure, and the mental side of performance. My style is direct, supportive, and focused. In our work together, we’ll talk through what’s going on, identify what’s getting in the way, and focus on helping you move forward with more clarity and confidence.
I’m a licensed therapist, single mother, and natural healer who brings both clinical expertise and deep intuitive understanding into my work. My path into this field wasn’t just academic—it’s personal. I’ve lived through family dynamics, relationship challenges, emotional pain, and rebuilding, which allows me to meet my clients with genuine empathy, not just theory.
I work with women, men, and couples who feel overwhelmed, stuck in patterns, or disconnected from themselves. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside—caregivers, professionals, parents—but internally feel anxious, unfulfilled, or unsure how to move forward.
My approach blends evidence-based therapy with a deeper, more holistic lens. I pay attention not just to what’s happening cognitively, but emotionally and relationally—helping you understand the “why” beneath your patterns so real, lasting change can happen.
If you’re looking for a therapist who is both grounded and deeply perceptive, structured yet human, I offer a space where you can be fully seen and supported.
In a world that too often feels overwhelming and disconnected, creativity and nature are a source of consistency and reassurance. I help clients discover and develop the healthy, hopeful and resilient parts of themselves that are often the answer to “how do I deal with my anxiety, my depression, a significant loss, an important life transition, or a past trauma?"

My name is Shavone Marie Williams-Moss, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I entered the field of social work largely because of my family background; I was raised by a single father while my mother struggled with substance abuse and mental health issues and could not perform her role as a parent.
One day as an adult in my 20's, I saw my mother sitting on a bench on the main street in Kentucky. I welcomed her into my home only to discover she not only suffered from homelessness but bipolar disorder, major depression, and substance abuse. My mother lived with me for a year, after which she passed away. This situation made me wonder, what if, in her younger years, she would have met someone who was supportive, understanding, kind, selfless, and invested in helping her be the best version of her, she could be. It was then that I decided to enter the Social Work Field. I wanted to provide help to those who could not help themselves and aid to those in need.
Hi! I'm Ariana! Welcome to the first step in your journey to healing! I serve all who come to seek to improve upon themselves in any capacity. I work to give all the tools to find their strength, consistency and peace in building a life that works for them on their terms. Whether that's a need to create boundaries, learning to prioritize self, or managing symptoms of depression or anxiety - no need is unworthy of the time it takes to heal.
Let's work together to build success, happiness, and joy. I'm ready when you are.

I have experience assessing crisis and referring to appropriate levels of care, inpatient and outpatient therapy and utilization/case management. I am generally laid back, compassionate, empathetic and genuinely motivated to help others become their best self.
My vision is to let people know there is a place where they can be heard, while being empowered and uplifted. My work focuses on helping my clients identify their strengths and teaching them tools to help not only cope, but also heal. I use a therapeutic process that focuses on my clients' needs and goals; along with evidence-based practices to help my clients resolve their issues and renew their lives.
I have not taken the traditional route in my life to get to this career, but I am so thrilled to be here. I have a background in journalism and secondary education. I believe my background and experience offers a unique perspective when working with clients. I have been licensed for over five years now and consider myself a lifelong learner.
Pets are my favorite part of telehealth counseling! Since I work from home, there may be occasional disruptions from my pets. Your animals are always welcome to join a session!
(I am currently looking for office space in the Peoria, IL area)
From the outside, your life may look put together. You handle responsibilities, show up for others, and keep things moving. But internally, you might feel anxious, overwhelmed, burned out, or disconnected from yourself.
If you’re used to being the strong one, it can be hard to admit when you need support. You don’t have to keep carrying everything on your own.
I help adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic stress move beyond just getting through the day and start feeling more like themselves again. Together, we focus on real, lasting change so you can feel calmer, more grounded, and more in control of your life.
As a licensed therapist and U.S. Air Force veteran, I understand the weight of high responsibility, constant pressure, and the expectation to hold everything together. My approach is compassionate, practical, and focused on what actually works in everyday life. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, trauma-informed care, and strengths-based therapy to help you understand what you’re experiencing while building tools you can rely on outside of sessions.
I specialize in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression, and I also support clients through burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, caregiving stress, and grief. Therapy with me is a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and reconnect with yourself without judgment.
If you’re ready to feel better and make meaningful changes, I’d be glad to connect. I currently have daytime availability and welcome you to reach out to get started.
