(she/her)
My name is Adriana Cintrón and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am a bilingual and bicultural therapist, working with English speaking individuals in Illinois. I work mainly with adults who have expressed a need for support and would either like to define goals or have them and would like help to achieve them. I primarily specialize in depression, anxiety, stress and domestic violence counseling.
I am looking forward to getting to know my clients. We will chat about what you are looking for and the steps I can take to help support you on that journey.
I utilize the person-centered approach which is based on the specific needs and goals of each individual.
Life's challenges often get in the way of this and people are not able to accomplish their goals. I find it rewarding to empower others to develop their fullest potential.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have used cognitive behavioral therapy to support many clients with issues that present challenges for them. I believe that this method works best to understand the nuances of a situation and how to best tackle that challenge.
