Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in the Chicagoland area. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Northwestern University and my Master's Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I have been working in the school system for the past several years and I also have my certification in perinatal mental health. In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we will get to know each other and determine if we are a good fit. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and what you hope to accomplish during our time together. It will be a time for you to openly express yourself, get things off your chest, and ask any questions you may have about the process.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Back when I was an intern, my supervisor told me that I am "very emotionally attuned." I can pick up on the feelings you are experiencing, whether you are aware of them or not. Understanding and acknowledging our feelings is an important part of being human. I am creative, authentic, open, and honest.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy examines the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I have been using this modality ever since I became a therapist.
