Stacy Wexler
Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in the Chicagoland area. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Northwestern University and my Master's Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I have been working in the school system for the past several years and I also have my certification in perinatal mental health. First session
In our first session, we will get to know each other and determine if we are a good fit. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and what you hope to accomplish during our time together. It will be a time for you to openly express yourself, get things off your chest, and ask any questions you may have about the process.
Strengths
Back when I was an intern, my supervisor told me that I am "very emotionally attuned." I can pick up on the feelings you are experiencing, whether you are aware of them or not. Understanding and acknowledging our feelings is an important part of being human. I am creative, authentic, open, and honest.

Young adults, new moms, and anyone feeling stuck, frustrated, or overwhelmed and wanting to talk about it

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy examines the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I have been using this modality ever since I became a therapist.
