Right now you are probably scared. You know something needs to change, but you don’t know where to start. You don't know if this works and you're at the point where you are afraid that nothing will work. We have all been there, me included. I understand and I do not judge. I have been a clinical therapist for the past 20 years. In my time I have worked with adolescents, adults, couples, geriatric patients, and LGBTIQQ individuals. What I have discovered in all my years of practice is that people all want the same things. We want to know that we are loved, valued and respected. I can promise you that when you speak to me you will be the only person that matters. You will not find judgement and you will not find blame. We will work together, at your own pace. I will help you find hope, unwavering support and the motivation to change the things in your life that you feel need to be changed. Together, we can improve your life. I'm here whenever you're ready.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our sessions together stem from you. We discuss what you want and make plans based not upon what I think will work best for you but what you think works best for you. We will tailor interventions with you in mind. I always say, if an intervention does not work for you, it does not work. I can't say that the road will always be easy. I can't say that you will leave every session feeling amazing. But I can promise you that I will be with you throughout the entire process. We will celebrate the small victories and examine the failures for the lessons that they may teach. Together, we will find ways for you to live a happier, healthier life.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I like to employ a strategy of a mixture of cognitive behavioral therapy and psychoanalytic therapy. I do this for a few reasons. Cognitive behavioral therapy creates early success. It gives you techniques to handle bursts of negative emotions and methods of getting through the tough times. It teaches you that you can weather the storms of life. It gives you the ability to control your own mind and body. Once you have that knowledge, we can delve deeper into your past and thoughts. This will help you to incorporate the trauma that you have experienced in the past to make your future better.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am personable, patient and understanding. I try to treat every client the way I would wish to be treated. I am patient, flexible and put a lot into my efforts to help my clients reach their therapeutic goals. I invest myself in each and every client and dedicate myself to helping clients improve on their lives.
