Starting therapy can feel empowering, confusing, or even intimidating—and it’s worth taking a moment to recognize the courage it takes to take this first step toward caring for your mental health. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where you can explore challenges related to anxiety, depression, self-care, and more. My goal is to help you strengthen communication and boundaries with yourself and others so that you can improve your quality of life and move toward the future you envision. Therapy is not just about overcoming obstacles—it’s also about personal growth. Together, we’ll clarify your goals and identify strategies to help you move toward them, whether that means change over the next month, six months, or a year. You’ll leave our sessions with practical insights and “next steps” you can put into action right away. I believe life’s purpose isn’t simply to be happy, but to find meaning—and within that meaning, joy emerges. While the journey isn’t always easy, it can be transformative. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Addictions Professional, Internationally Certified Drug Counselor, and Behavior Analyst. I take a strength-based approach, helping you use your unique abilities to address challenges. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to empower you in creating lasting change. Most importantly, I bring a relaxed, compassionate, and trustworthy presence, fostering a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe and supported.

Sustainable change isn't a matter of willpower; it’s a matter of design. Most people who feel "stuck" aren't lacking motivation—they are simply operating within a system that wasn't built to support their unique brain or their highest goals. As an LMHC and BCBA with over 20 years of clinical experience, I specialize in the science of behavior to help you move past trying harder and start building smarter. I define my approach as Behavioral Architecture. Together, we identify the environmental friction—procrastination, anxiety, or digital distraction—and replace self-blame with structural solutions. Through the Masterpiece Framework, we audit your daily systems to ensure they align with your core values and the identity you are intentionally cultivating. We aren't just changing habits; we are clearing the path so you can live with the clarity and intention of a Masterpiece in progress. As a bilingual clinician, I offer a practical perspective that honors the challenge of navigating diverse cultures. I help you bridge the gap between your heritage and your future, ensuring the systems we design together are both culturally resonant and personally meaningful.

Life can be hard, and I know that not only from my professional experience, but from my own personal journey. I’ve been working in the mental health field for over six years, but my perspective as a therapist has also been shaped by growing up in a multicultural family, with a Mexican mother and British father, experiencing poverty, becoming the first in my family to attend college, and having the opportunity to experience many different cultures and parts of the world. Those experiences have taught me that no matter how much or how little we have, we are all human. There are no perfect parents, perfect relationships, or perfect people—we’re all imperfect people trying to make sense of life, navigate challenges, and become better versions of ourselves.

About me I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with 26 years of professional experience, as well as a Qualified Supervisor for new interns. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, and East Brunswick, NJ, until age 23, I moved to Pembroke Pines, Jupiter, and now reside in Sarasota, FL. I have personally conquered Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, Major Depression, Anxiety, OCD, CPTSD, Addictions of Gambling, Sex, Cars, and Weed, Codependency, Divorce, Custody, and Parenting Issues. I have the ability to mend relationships, as I have brought my relationship with my wife from shambles to diamonds, and our "ship" is still moving North in the direction we both want, despite our differences and disagreements along the way. There is no more all-or-nothing thinking or engagement in back-and-forth arguments or break-ups; instead, there is peace, love, cooling off, and acceptance of our different attachment styles, love languages, personalities, and brain designs. I am 6 years and 9 months sober from marijuana (December 30, 2019), and sober from the addictions of gambling, sex, and buying expensive cars beyond my means. I firmly believe we learn something new or reinforce a life lesson every day. Personal and Professional Growth equates to extra Health, Happiness, and Longevity. I have 9-year-old fraternal twin boys, 2 stepchildren, ages 25 and 26, two cats and two dogs, a wife, and a mother-in-law.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. Whether you are exploring therapy for yourself or as a couple, for the first time or returning to it, let us acknowledge the courage and humility it takes to seek support outside of yourself - a powerful step toward healing, growth, and change. You may be navigating stress, loss, disconnection, conflict, anger, depression, anxiety, a difficult event, or living with trauma. You may already have insight into your challenges and are looking for the right support to nudge you forward. You are here. I have been a mental health service provider since 2004, after earning my M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida. I'm currently pursuing a doctorate in Conflict Analysis and Resolution at Nova Southeastern University, where my research focuses on relational resonance, relationships, and reconciliation in conflict resolution. My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and grounded in evidence-based practices, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral, Acceptance & Commitment, Mindfulness, Interpersonal, Humanistic and Client-Centered, Psychodynamic therapeutic modalities, among others. While theory and technique are crucial, I believe the heart of therapy lies in genuine human connection. I sit with you. I listen to understand your unique lived experiences. I support you. Through questioning, you are guided to the answers you seek; with your permission, I offer different perspectives and encouragement as you do the meaningful work of change. We build a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, honesty, and collaboration. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your path to greater well-being.

Hello! I’m a Florida-based Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself as you navigate stress, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. As a former competitive athlete, I’ve learned firsthand the value of perseverance, resilience, teamwork, and showing up even when things feel difficult. I completed my Masters in 2005, while also starting my journey in the field in 2004. I spent a year working in Opiate addiction but my true passion was children and families. I moved on to intensive services, working with underserved children and their families in rural areas, from 2005-2007. After leaving that position, I moved onto a company doing similar work. where I continued to work with children, families and adults that were underserved for 5 more years. I provided therapy in homes, schools and the office setting. I began to focus in on Trauma work as well as anxiety disorders to include OCD and all other anxiety disorders. After spending nearly 10 years in the field, I decided to get my license in the state of Florida (LMHC-Licensed Mental Health Counselor) and move into a management role where I worked for the past 13 years while also maintaining private clients. I supervise therapists, working to become licensed, so I spend a lot of time consulting on cases of all kinds. In this time I was also trained in various forms of trauma based cognitive behavioral approaches as well as EMDR (still learning however).

Hi, I'm Ashley, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Reiki II practitioner. I believe that somewhere underneath the anxiety, the self-doubt, and the patterns that keep repeating, there is a version of you that already knows the way. My job isn't to fix you. It's to create a space steady enough that you can actually hear yourself. Together we get curious about the thoughts that won't quiet down, the emotions that feel bigger than the moment, the behaviors that keep showing up even when you don't want them to, and what all of it is actually trying to tell you. I utilize a holistic approach, bringing tools into our work that help you understand what's happening in your mind and body when you're overwhelmed, so you can actually do something about it instead of just surviving it. But more than any method or modality, I show up as a real person walking alongside you, trusting that you are the expert on your own life. If you're ready to listen to that wiser part of yourself and create meaningful change, I'd be honored to walk with you.

Are you experiencing frustration, confusion or turmoil in your life? Even to the point where you see no sense of direction while trying to navigate through life? At times, this can be overwhelming for individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, including other mental health disorders. Hi! My name is Stephaney and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with almost a decade of experience in treating adults and adolescents for various mental health challenges and co-occurring diagnoses. I was inspired to become a therapist by my unique experience migrating to the United States at the age of 13 and attending middle school which was very challenging for me. Culture shock became my reality and one that would eventually lead me to “Severe anxiety.” Even with a very strong family support system, I felt alone and trapped by my own inner fears and self-defeating thoughts. Constant worry and fear of being bullied by my peers became my everyday experience. Through all these obstacles, I was able to process my feelings and experiences with my faith in Jesus Christ, supportive family, and a few good friends. To this extent, I have come to recognize the benefits of a strong support system and the need for social and relational connection. As a mental health counselor, I’m privileged to be a part of that support system for many people. I work with my clients to connect the dots between their thoughts, emotions, and actions, all while providing sound strategies to promote healthier thought processes. I believe that every human being deserves a chance to be heard and understood, and therapy has taught me that as human beings, we are more alike than different. So as your therapist, I’m excited to be a listening ear for you and help guide you toward your goals.

Across all settings, my priority is to create a non-judgmental, safe, and welcoming environment where you can work toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you. I take a holistic approach and integrate a variety of therapeutic interventions, including art and music-inspired techniques, cognitive reframing to challenge negative self-talk, solution-focused strategies, and what I like to call “care-frontation.” I often offer optional tasks or reflections between sessions to help deepen your progress. I’d be honored to support you as we begin this healing journey together.

I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience supporting adults through cancer, survivorship, caregiving, and other major life and medical transitions. My work often focuses on the emotional and relational impact of these experiences—including anxiety, grief, changes in identity and body image, relationship concerns, and shifts in intimacy and sexual health. I also work with adults who want to better understand themselves and the patterns that show up in their relationships, especially during times of change, uncertainty, or stress. I also specialize in sexual health and intimacy, supporting individuals who are navigating desire differences, sexual shame, body image concerns, or changes related to illness, stress, aging, or past experiences. These can be difficult topics to talk about, but they are an important part of emotional and relational well-being—and they deserve thoughtful, non-judgmental care. My approach to therapy is collaborative, relational, and tailored to your unique needs. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you—it’s about helping you better understand what you’re carrying, reconnect with your strengths, and move forward with more clarity, self-compassion, and intention.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
