Hello! I work with people who want help finding ways to live a more fulfilling life. As a therapist, I help people recognize their strengths as we work together to overcome difficulties. Almost all of us struggle with many of the same questions. "Am I good enough?" "Why do I feel like I don't matter?" "Will I ever be truly happy when I seem to make the same choices over and over again?" Do you want to manage anxiety? Do you feel depressed? Have you experienced a trauma? Do you find yourself unable to finish projects or find your car keys? Are the kids struggling? Whatever is going wrong, a safe place to talk, knowing your trust will never be compromised, is a wonderful gift you can give yourself. During the first visit, we'll talk about what you want to see happen. Together will come up with a plan. Lasting change is possible. You can create a happy and fulfilling life.

Hi my name is Amy, and I first want to acknowledge how difficult and scary it feels to begin the process of therapy, either for the first time or starting with a new therapist. I take very seriously the enormous strength that takes and I work very hard to ensure that you feel safe and heard as we begin the therapeutic relationship. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 15 years of experience providing counseling in both inpatient and outpatient centers. I received my Master’s degree in counseling in 2008, from Webster University. I had the privilege of working in an inpatient eating disorder facility for five years and have continued that work in outpatient settings. I am an ally to the LGBTQ community and it is important to me that clients find this a safe space. I have a passion for connecting with teenagers, college students and career women to build a safe place with an adult where they can voice their feelings and experiences without fear of judgement. I also especially enjoy working with young adult women as they navigate their way through the process of beginning adulthood. I have experience with a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and general women’s issue. I am especially passionate about working with CPTSD and PTSD. I have received training and supervision in working with trauma as it is a highly specialized field. Trauma survivors need validation, belief, compassion and acceptance first and foremost before a trusting relationship can be established. I have working with women exiting a toxic relationship, having endured narcissistic abuse and/or infidelity (betrayal trauma) which is many times misunderstood by well-intentioned people. My approach is warm, compassionate and highly empathetic as I work to establish a safe environment for healing to take place.

Life can become overwhelming when anxiety, depression, past trauma, relationship struggles, or shame begin to affect your confidence, peace, and hope. You do not have to face these challenges alone. Finding the right therapist can be the first step toward meaningful change. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in South Carolina specializing in trauma, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, shame, and relationship challenges with adults. For those who desire it, I offer Christian faith integration as part of the counseling process. I understand the importance faith can have in providing strength, identity, and healing. I also welcome clients who prefer a traditional clinical approach, and our work together will always be guided by your personal values and goals. A significant focus of my practice is helping men who feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, burdened by shame, or affected by past experiences, relationship wounds, or trauma. Many people have spent years carrying struggles on their own. Together, we will identify what may be keeping you stuck, develop practical strategies for change, and work toward healthier relationships and greater emotional well-being. My counseling style is practical, structured, and compassionate. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and other therapeutic methods to help clients manage anxiety, process difficult experiences, change unhealthy patterns, and build skills for long-term growth. I earned my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida and have experience working with adults facing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Taking the first step toward counseling is not always easy. My name is Miguel Lopez, a Hispanic male (He/Him/His) and U.S. Army combat veteran who brings a unique perspective to my work as a therapist. Fluent in Spanish and passionate about guiding people through life’s challenges, I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Walden University, a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Colorado Technical University, and an Associate’s in Criminal Justice from Pikes Peak State College. With over a decade of experience as a caseworker, substance abuse counselor, and therapist, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse clients facing real-life struggles and in need of daily support. Life can be tough, and we all face difficult moments—whether it’s a breakup, divorce, grief, the loss of a loved one or pet, or even a job loss. In these times, having an unbiased person to offer support can make a world of difference. I see trauma as an unexpected part of life that is often hard to process, but with the right help, it can be managed and overcome healthily. I’ve personally experienced more than my share of trauma, grief, loss, sadness, depression, and substance use, and I sought help to work through them. My approach to therapy is centered on helping people in the best way possible, always with an open mind. I often use Maslow’s hierarchy of needs as a guide, because I believe mental health is hard to prioritize when physical needs aren’t met, or issues like homelessness or substance abuse are present. I enjoy working with clients from age 5 to older adults who face Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, and other mental health or substance use challenges. It’s easy to fight battles alone and suffer in silence, but you don’t have to anymore—together, we can work toward healing and a better future.

If you’ve been thinking about starting therapy, now is a good time to reach out. I currently have immediate availability for new adult clients and offer secure telehealth throughout Michigan and Florida. Maybe you’ve been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that you can’t seem to change. You may be functioning well on the outside while privately struggling on the inside. You might be overthinking, having difficulty managing your emotions, feeling disconnected, or carrying the effects of experiences that still affect you today. Sometimes you may not even know exactly what you need, you just know that something needs to change. I work with adults (18+) and couples experiencing trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, grief, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. I also support clients navigating ADHD and other challenges that may be affecting their emotional well-being and everyday life. Opening up to someone you’ve never met can feel uncomfortable, especially when you're already dealing with something difficult. You don't need to come to your first session with everything figured out, and you don't need to know exactly what to say. We can start wherever you are. I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is not to tell you what you should do, but to help you better understand yourself, explore different perspectives, recognize patterns, and work through the things that may be getting in the way of the life or relationships you want.

Hi, I’m Susan—a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Addictions Professional, and Substance Abuse Professional. I hold a master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of West Florida and have been working in the mental health and substance abuse field since 2009 (licensed since 2012). My approach is grounded in empathy, active listening, and real partnership. I work as hard as you do to help you return to your best self. I believe lasting change happens between sessions—so I give you practical tools and support, but the real healing comes from what you do with them. I’ve worked in private practice, addiction clinics, homeless veteran services, military family counseling, and the county jail. Outside of work, I enjoy walking, biking, swimming, travel, cooking, gardening, and time with loved ones.

I am a seasoned Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families through complex emotional and mental health challenges. Holding a Doctorate in Clinical Social Work, I bring a deep commitment to evidence-based practice, trauma-informed care, and client-centered support. My path to becoming a mental health provider has been deeply rooted in a commitment to supporting children, families, and communities. I began my career working closely with young people and their families, which shaped my understanding of the importance of early, compassionate intervention. After earning my Master’s in Social Work, I worked as a school-based therapist, where I witnessed the transformative power of accessible, empathetic care within educational settings. Currently, after I pursued my Doctorate in Social Work, my focus has expanded to helping individuals of all ages reach their full potential and experience greater happiness and fulfillment in life. I bring a strengths-based, client-centered approach to every session, grounded in evidence-based practice and a genuine belief in the capacity for growth and healing. My work is not just a profession—it’s a lifelong commitment to walking alongside others on their journey toward well-being and empowerment.

My name is Flemens Casimir, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with six years of experience providing counseling services to individuals from diverse backgrounds and demographics. In addition to my work in general mental health, I also have extensive experience in substance abuse treatment, supporting clients who struggle with addiction and co-occurring disorders. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is enhancing my ability to support clients in addressing trauma that often contributes to ongoing mental health and substance use challenges. My therapeutic philosophy emphasizes meeting clients where they are in their current stage of life. I approach counseling with authenticity, empathy, and a commitment to being nonjudgmental, because I believe that when someone seeks mental health support, the last thing they should encounter is judgment. My goal is to create a safe and collaborative environment where clients feel empowered and respected as they work toward healing and growth.

I absolutely love what I do as a therapist and I love working with people within all stages of change. Whether you've explored multiple resources and feel stuck in a revolving door or you're just curious about therapy for the first time, I want to hear your unique story and personal goals. I'm a musician and athlete and have a huge passion for health and fitness which has also influenced my holistic approach. I also love exploring spirituality and learning more about people's unique experiences. While I take therapy seriously, I also naturally have a warm, light-hearted approach.
