You want change but don't know where to start. You might be experiencing debilitating emotional, psychological, and/or physical pain. Or depression that leaves you feeling lost and alone. Maybe you have intense anxiety and fear that prevents you from connecting with those you love and that keeps you from feeling accomplished. Perhaps a slow eroding of your self-esteem has taken root and negatively impacting your abilities to see the wonder and awe in the world. If you are experiencing any of these feelings, emotions, or life challenges, please know that you are not alone. In collaboration we will heal the root of pain and create a path to your heart center where you are free of burdens and able to thrive. I am a skilled clinician who is authentic, intuitive, and focused. My counseling approach is individualized where I draw from current research in brain science, physiology of trauma, counseling, positive psychology, existential philosophy, and mind sight. I provide services in a culturally sensitive and trauma informed manner where you feel safe and capable to ignite your curiosity, where you will gain insight into your heart wisdom and intelligence, and where meaningful releases of painful body sensations and memories happens without being re-traumatized. Positive change is possible. I am here for you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our sessions are focused and often significant shifts occur within the first session.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Clients share that they appreciate being seen, heard and understood after years of not feeling safe in connection with another person. The gift to know how to reclaim authenticity is an important take away for many of the people I work with.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

It all starts here in your early attachment experiences- as trauma expert Janina Fisher explains - were your earlier years about your body, mind and nervous system organizing around safety and security or were they organized around defending against possible annihilation and/or abandonment? Using this de-stigmatizing approach allows healing to begin right away as we recognized the survival strategies we incorporated to survive.
