If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to start, you're in the right place. I'm Katya, and I see therapy as a practical, collaborative space where we focus on real progress, not perfection.
Together, we'll work to better understand the patterns that keep you stuck, strengthen your ability to manage life's challenges, and build on the strengths you already have. I think of therapy a little like a climb: progress isn't always about pushing harder. Sometimes it means pausing, reassessing, and finding your next steady hold. My goal is to help you build steadiness, clarity, and self-trust so you can move through life with more resilience.

I am here to provide assistance. My clinical practice utilizes a practical, interactive, solution-focused discipline as a licensed mental health professional with twenty-seven (27) years experience. My treatment approach is to provide support to assist clients in resolving current problems and long-standing patterns. I log in once a day Monday through Friday and am off on Saturday and Sunday. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Hypnotherapist, but more than that, I work with people who feel stuck in patterns they understand but still can’t seem to break. Maybe it shows up in relationships that feel familiar but painful, putting others first so you don’t lose them, or slipping back into old habits when emotions become overwhelming. You’re not broken. You are repeating a pattern that once kept you safe but now keeps you stuck.
I help clients who look strong and “put together” on the outside, but internally feel disconnected, unseen, or like they’re always fighting themselves. You might know why you do what you do because you’ve read the books, tried therapy before, told yourself you’d choose differently, and yet something still pulls you back.
My approach is real, honest, and compassionate. We won’t just talk about the surface problem. We’ll work with the deeper beliefs and emotional wiring underneath it. Together, we identify what keeps you abandoning yourself, and begin rebuilding from a place of self-trust, worthiness, and grounded clarity.
I am a cisgender bilingual (English/Spanish) LMHC serving first responders and other high-pressure professionals. My practice reflects my experience & intent to assist you.
I understand the unique demands of high-stress roles and help clients navigate anxiety, depression, and unexpected life changes. My approach strengthens communication, resilience, and balance—so you can feel grounded, connected, and supported at work and at home.

With a deep passion for breaking the stigma surrounding addiction and mental health, I have dedicated the last ten years to assisting individuals who grapple with the complex interplay of mental health issues and underlying substance abuse. I’ve witnessed how the societal stigma often conceals the very real barriers individuals face in their daily lives. My mission is to empower them with coping skills and strategies that allow them to embrace a life of recovery and resilience.
As a therapist, I focus on guiding patients towards building essential skills to overcome their challenges. I believe that mental health issues come in myriad forms, and it is our duty to provide support, unburdened by negative stereotypes and judgment. Together, let’s shatter the silence and create a path towards hope, recovery and well-being.
