New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. I provide a supportive, collaborative space where clients can feel safe, understood, and empowered to explore their experiences. My goal is to help clients build insight, develop effective coping tools, and move toward greater emotional balance, resilience, and a more fulfilling life.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first session is a time for us to get to know each other and for you to share what brings you to therapy at your own pace. We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant background, and what you hope to gain from therapy, while also discussing how I work and what support may be most helpful for you. My priority is creating a safe, comfortable space where you feel heard, respected, and supported as we begin working together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a calm, compassionate space where clients feel genuinely seen and understood. I bring a thoughtful, integrative approach to therapy, blending practical tools with deeper insight to support meaningful and lasting change. My experience allows me to adapt my methods to each client’s needs, helping them feel supported while also gently challenged as they build resilience, clarity, and confidence in their lives.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
You may be a good fit for working with me if you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted and want support making sense of what you’re experiencing. Many of the clients I work with are thoughtful, self-aware, and motivated for change, but may struggle with anxiety, stress, trauma, or navigating major life transitions. You might be seeking practical tools, deeper insight, and a safe space to process emotions while learning healthier ways to cope, grow, and move forward with more clarity and confidence.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that may be contributing to emotional distress. Together, we explore how thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected, and we work on developing healthier ways of thinking and responding to life’s challenges. CBT is practical, collaborative, and skills-focused, often including tools clients can use both in and outside of sessions to create lasting change.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness-based therapy to help clients build greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations in the present moment. This approach supports learning how to respond to stress, anxiety, and difficult emotions with more calm, clarity, and self-compassion rather than reactivity. Mindfulness skills are gently integrated into sessions and can be practiced in everyday life to support emotional regulation and overall well-being
Psychoeducation
I incorporate psychoeducation to help clients better understand their mental health, emotional responses, and the patterns that may be impacting their lives. By learning how the brain, nervous system, and stress responses work, clients often feel more empowered and less overwhelmed by their experiences. This understanding supports insight, reduces self-blame, and helps clients make informed, intentional choices in their healing process.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use a person-centered approach to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. This method emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, allowing clients to explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. I believe clients are the experts of their own experiences, and therapy is a collaborative process that supports growth, self-trust, and personal insight.
Positive Psychology
integrate positive psychology into my work by helping clients identify their strengths, values, and sources of resilience. This approach focuses not only on reducing distress, but also on building meaning, confidence, and a greater sense of well-being. By highlighting what is already working and fostering hope and self-compassion, clients can create more balanced, fulfilling lives.
