In my 13 years of experience, I have worked with individuals who are feeling emotionally stuck due to sadness, irritability, relationship issues, anger, financial loss, unresolved trauma, loss of a loved one and/or anxiety. These emotions may lead you into a mental whirlwind which feels chaotic and uncontrollable. But know that you are not alone and there is hope. I will provide you with treatment focused on using evidence-based practices such as Mindfulness Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Based Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy. I will engage you in creating a treatment plan that works for you! I will assist you in identifying your interest of focus (personal issues), empower you to process and reach your goals as you achieve emotional stability in therapy.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions then we dive into specific challenges you are experiencing. This will help me create a tailored treatment plan for us to work through in follow- up sessions.
Having worked with anxiety and depression for the past 13 years, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you identify the root cause of your challenges and create a tailored plan that leads to measurable success.
I enjoy working with clients who are experiencing challenges due to anxiety, trauma and depression symptoms who want to brake free from generational cycles and are trying to overcome and fulfill their life goals but do not know where to start. I am here for you! We will work together on addressing your symptoms and building a healthier lifestyle while working on addressing your issues in session using Mindfulness- CBT, coping skills, outcomes based treatment plan and other evidenced based practices. Muriel is such a beautiful soul. She is lively, a wonderful listener, and definitely shows oodles of empathy, compassion, and the willingness to solve issues. If I could keep her as a therapist forever, however I know that she will help me reach my breakthroughs and I will not need her services anymore soon. I have been using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice for the past 4 years, to treat individuals who present with anxiety, PTSD, depression, anger, bipolar and ADHD.
